Awesome stay. My wife and I stayed here for one night during our California trip. We felt welcomed by the staff upon arrival and it never ended. Property was beautiful. Room was large with plenty of amenities. We recommend the bath house and the nature walk. We had room service for dinner and it was outstanding. When we return to California we will return to Ventana for a longer stay next time.

The smells, the sounds, the views. Ventana has it all. It's The only place in the states where we can actually relax. The food is incredible and we love the hiking in the area. Wine and cheese hour is fun as is breakfast in our robes. This is the perfect place to feel pampered.

Ventana is gorgeous. The property has incredible views and Big Sur is a magical place. The staff is friendly and helpful. Only disappointment was the scheduled yoga was not acutally yoga, most of us who showed up left. Our view was up against a mountain so wasn't much of anything. The fireplace was a very nice touch! Peaceful place. Still very expensive for what it is. The lack of places in Big Sur definately lets them charge a premium... but it's worth the trip.

Our trip to Ventana was wonderful! My husband and I loved our room, and the spa was so nice and relaxing. It was the perfect weekend getaway. Next time we would love to test out there camp grounds. I would highly recommend this inn & spa for anyone wanting a quite, relaxing getaway.

Stayed here for a night when travelling up the coast from LA to SF, we'd heard amazing things about this place and its reputation is well-deserved. Check-in process was smooth and welcoming and we took advantage of a cheese buffet and free head massage on arrival. Our room was located above reception had huge ceilings and a balcony looking out to the pacific. We ate in the Ventana restaurant, going for the tasting menu which was exceptional. A great nights sleep was followed by a yoga class and then an informative guided walk around the beautiful grounds, all included in the stay. We only stayed one night but were so relaxed it felt like we'd been there a week. Its not cheap but as an overall experience I would say it's actually good value.
