Lovely hotel in a great location with wonderful staff. The rooftop terrace has magnificent views including over the Guggenheim. Breakfast is excellent. Parking is onsite and the valet service is good. Bedrooms are comfortable and well equipped.

Great location, Guggenheim across the road. Facilities very good. Rooftop restaurant delivers reasonable dinner/breakfast. Make sure you select a room with a view of the Guggenheim. Take a tram to the Old City or Uptown from a convenient stop. 15 mins from the airport by cab. Would stay again.

I think the hotel may now be rebranded as The Artist? It was going through that transformation when we were there. The location is superb - facing the Guggenheim and the Koons puppy by the river in Bilbao. It's ordinary from the outside and sleek and modern on the inside. Like most modern hotels, the rooms are a bit on the small side. If you want to sit down in the room before heading out in the evening, there is one comfy chair and the other person is on the bed or a more upright number. Bathroom is smallish but perfectly OK with two sinks and a shower over the bath. Staff are friendly. The breakfast is very nice - decent selection in the buffet and a nice setting up on the 7th floor overlooking the Guggenheim. Would probably be good for a business trip.

Really awesome hotel in the perfect location! The staff is very friendly and I want to give a shout out to Javier in the front desk for helping us plan what to do in town. Room was very spacious and nice views from breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel!

This was a great choice for my stay in Bilbao, I couldn’t have been happier with Gran Hotel Domine! The hotel is immediately opposite the Guggenheim, its mirrored facade reflecting back the stunning Gehry designed structure. I loved my room, a Premier Guggenheim View, as it did exactly what it said on the tin, offering up prime views over the Museum & the Puppy. The room was spacious & super stylish, with a large comfy bed, big flat screen, mini bar, beverage making & glossy bathroom complete with Philippe Starck tub. WiFi was also excellent. The hotel has 145 rooms, its 7 storeys anchored around a 26 metre pebble phallus, which can be admired as you journey up & down one of the 3 glass lifts. I didn’t dine in-house but enjoyed drinks on the rooftop terrace & also in the ground floor lobby bar. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly with good English skills. I’d have no hesitation in highly recommending this hotel, it is wonderful.
