Nice Place

Resort is beautiful. Room was spacious and very clean along with the resort Only complaint was food was overpriced and hostess extremely rude. The SPA and Massage was awesome and offered lots of amenities. Would go back, but would eat elsewhere.

Ho hum lodging!

Room was very disappointing, overlooked the parking lot above the bikes. Room was freezing, had to request a blanket as changing thermostat did nothing. Blanket was lame so slept in my coat. Then the coffee maker did not work. For the money expected more. Then day of arrival told hot tub not working, ugh! Location was gorgeous. Scheduled a massage and that was outstanding, but spa could use some work to earn a good rating. Went to restaurant for dinner one night and big YUCKO! So cant really recommend the lodge, but location is amazing!

Bed is comfy, food is good. Historic cannery turned into hotel. Great for families View of Canada from beach with fire pits and S’amores. Lots to do in the area. Hot tub and steam room were not functioning but they sent us a text so no surprise. Very hospitable staff

Amazing family time at relaxing, cozy retreat.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

We had the most amazing vacation! We were concerned after reading recent reviews, and considered cancelling our trip, but decided to give it a try, and we are so glad we did! It was not a fancy resort getaway- there are some areas in need of updating, painting, etc. but we didn’t expect it to be. It was a cozy family retreat with tons of relaxing and fun options that kept our 5 and 8 year old kids engaged for our whole trip. It was also a place where we felt comfortable giving our kids freedom to explore on their own and discover nature without us needing to be right next to them the whole time. The location is amazing. The views were picturesque and we loved watching the tides come in and out and looking across at the Canadian shoreline. We walked the beach at low tide and found so many interesting creatures, rocks and shells. We spent so much quality family time together. Our kids loved the huge board game selection and we played sitting in front of the big windows overlooking the beach. There were a ton of outdoor games like giant chess, corn hole and a bin of toys like frisbees, balls and badminton. We did scavenger hunts inside and outside and the kids loved getting prizes at the end. We borrowed bikes and rode the long bike path and they loved the views and stopping at rock beaches along the bay. We went to a movie every night in the theater and brought our own snacks and drinks. S’mores on the beach in the bonfire pits were lovely too. The pool was ok- it was warm (mid 80s), but still a bit chillier than we would have liked on a windy but sunny day. The hot tub was unfortunately broken and would have been a welcome addition. There were plenty of pool toys to borrow. The room was very large with comfortable beds and soft sheets. The bathroom was remodeled recently with a large shower and newer fixtures. Some of the furniture was older, but overall it was a nice room. The room was clean when we got here and they cleaned it well when they came. The food was delicious at Packers, although it did take a very long time to come out. We had planned for that based on recent reviews, so we did ok. The servers were very attentive and the dining rooms were very nice. All the staff we interacted with were kind, thoughtful and friendly. Overall we loved our experience here. Relaxing, reading books by the fire, playing games and exploring the beach made this a great family getaway.
