Reviews for Montage Palmetto Bluff
A gem placed in the beautiful low country of South Carolina. Convenient to Savannah, GA and the Savannah / Hilton Head Airport. The setting is idyllic, romantic, quiet and relaxing. The lodging options cover a wide range. We've enjoyed our stays in waterside cottages. Private and generously sized. All rooms have the finest features. On site dining provides good options. Lots of outdoor activities on and off the water. Beautiful spa with typical treatments. Get around the property by golf cart, bicycle, or a leisurely stroll on the winding paths. Truly a wonderful destination.

The best way to describe this place was idealistic. It was beautiful. We went down for a sales incentive trip otherwise i never would have know about this place. Great place for relaxing and quick trips to Hilton Head Island and Savannah, GA. There is a cute, artsy town of Bluffton down the road as well. When you are on the premise of Palmetto Bluff you do feel like you are in a town of your own. You can ride around on bikes all day looking at the gorgeous resident homes and the big tress with Spanish moss, even some alligator sightings! The Inn is only a year old and the staff is very friendly. Nice amenities. But it is pricey!

My fiancé wanted to visit the Palmetto Bluff prior to the new iteration and since the Montage has taken over it's different, lovely...and evolving! Uniquely situated outside Savannah and Hilton Head this ecologically oriented community is growing into what it will be someday. Golf course, hunting, bowling, game rooms, spa, salon, conservancy classes, and more...it's there to enjoy and today it feels like a sapling which will someday be a mighty magnificent oak. The Montage has successfully taken over an iconic property and built (and is continuing to build ) a potentially year round residential community. So it's not just a resort it's a lifestyle... I suggest you go online and see their promotional material. It's an interesting offering and could easily be your next home! We live in Florida so it's not an ideal second home for us too hot and humid, too much like where we already live. And, ideal for northerners looking for a southern (but not Florida) respite. Our room was a suite across the bridge from the main building which isn't even a year old...quite nice...spacious and new and clean. We had a screened in porch overlooking the lagoon, living room with a full bath plus another Large bathroom with two sinks, tub, shower and private toilet. I liked the layout...lots of privacy for a condensed amount of space! We will return! Extra bonuses not to miss...S'mores and the Sunset Cruise on The Grace.

we spent four days at a conference. The service, food and accommodations are all five star! Loved the boat ride on The Grace and walking into town to shop. The restaurants are super casual with excellent food. The turndown biscuits and carmel are to die for.

The friendliest staff you'll ever meet! The spa was quite wonderful, grounds are lovely, food excellent. Interesting real estate concept, lots of preserved space. Could look at the salt marshes forever.
