Four of us came for drinks on the outside patio and had a lovely time. The drinks were perfect, as were the complementary nuts. Service was impeccable. And afterwards, we wandered the lobby and halls, viewing the lovely historical photographs. If you can afford it, go.

This is a place you go to if you want peace, elegance, and an old fashioned family experience. After 5 pm there are virtually no cars in the streets and the stars are shining and you can hear the waves as you walk towards the shore. My son mentioned he felt like he had gone back to the 50s and it was an apt description. The Inn itself deserves its accolades. It has impeccable service ( special hello to David who works greeting and Odess and the rest of the housekeeping staff who were outstanding). All grounds and rooms are incredibly well maintained. We had a cottage right across from the inn. It was spacious and tastefully done in pastel tones with a sea theme. We had a party of six and were very comfortable. There was daily turn down service and L'Occitane toiletries. I think the water pressure could be improved in the shower. We rented bikes and a golf cart, both of which we really enjoyed. I would love to go back. This is a very "Waspy" place, just as a sidenote. We are from Brazil and we did not see many visitors outside of a certain "world" ..wearing pastel colored frocks and blond and tan. But we felt quite welcomed and had a fabulous time. Just something to be aware of... Congrats on an outstanding hotel.

We stayed 2 nights, while attending a family wedding. The Inn is very lovely, particularly decorated for Christmas. The wedding and reception were both well done- great outdoor setting, good food and good service. Our room was also quite nice - big and clean. Lots to do nearby - lived the lighthouse.

We spent the most glorious 3 days here. From check in to our accommodations to the facilities....I had no complaints. Our stay here was perfect. Our cottage was beautifully decorated, very spacious, and had everything we could need. Of course, it did not hurt that the weather was perfect. The Beach Club was so comfortable with everything one could ask for. As soon as we arrived, we were approached by Michael who set up chairs for, took beverage orders, brought towels....just an ideal setting. The staff were very pleasant...we took a guided kayak tour and the guides were terrific...we will return next year.

This was one of the most enjoyable trips we have taken. This place was immaculate and the staff could not have been more polite, efficient and friendly. I have never had such good service. So quaint...laid back...will be going back as we decided this needed to be a yearly event!
