Reviews for The Gasparilla Inn & Club
We loved the Gasparilla Inn the first time we saw it, and our stays have become longer over several years. The whole island is relatively quiet; the town is charming; the inn is beautiful and historic. Service couldn't be better. The dining room, the beach club, the spa, all excellent. It's a great place to be active: tennis, golf, swimming, various classes, etc. At night you might want a good book. The biggest drawback?: I miss it when we leave.

Excellent! Food was so fresh and yummy for only $15 a plate! Unlimited ice cream as well. Atmosphere was so pleasant. Later in the day we went for tea at 4 at The Inn and played ping pong and pool. Fun places to visit!
Visited Gasparilla Inn and Club back at the end of January. What an amazing and charming little place. We traveled with the group and had a great time. I will say that it would be very difficult to find a cleaner resort the Gasparilla. The hotel was very spacious and the bar was awesome. All the guests there are very nice. It's an old feel to the place, so don't go expecting modern rooms or anything like that. The rooms and bathrooms were very spacious. The building itself is great, but don't forget there is a town to visit. We are in our 30's and we were surrounded by retirees. They like the curfew at night so we had to be quiet in the evening, but boy did they love to make noise early in the morning... they didn't mind waking everyone up around 7:00AM. But nonetheless, we had an amazing time. The Beach Club was clean and everyone working was helpful and made it a point to make sure your stay was top notch. The fried grouper was AMAZING!!! Go get it! We had a great time and we hope to make it back again! GO!!!

This is a fabulous place. We loved our cottage which was quiet and beautifully decorated. You do not need a car but we rented a golf club and used it all week. Love the Pink Elephant for dinner, the Inlet for breakfast and the Beach Club for lunch. The Spa and fitness rooms are perfect. The salon is also quite nice. We will be back!

This is our third visit to the Gasparilla Inn and it continues to charm us. The property and grounds are pristine. The bright cheerful colors used to appoint the Inn are uplifting and a reminder of days past. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Unlike other properties of this caliber, there is not an air of snootiness. We’ve always enjoyed staying in the cabins. Everything is a short walk away. Better yet, rent bikes. Though expensive to rent, $30 a day, it’s a great way to see the island & take advantage of the numerous bike and cart paths. I recommend getting the breakfast plan if you are big breakfast eaters. Their breakfasts are delicious and if you’re lucky enough to catch the breakfast buffet, dependent on occupancy, you’ll be delighted. We love the beach/pool area. There is outdoors dining available onsite. It’s a great walking beach.
