Reviews for The Gasparilla Inn & Club
If you want to see what refined, old money Florida is like, this is the place place for you. The Gasparilla Inn is spectacular, with fantastic service and the perfect location. Boca Grande is a ridiculously charming and relaxing island that feels like it somehow floated 100 miles from the Keys up the west coast of Florida. Home to Rockefellers, DuPont, Steinbrenners, and Bushes (yes, that is George W driving by you on a golf cart with Secret Service in tow).

My husband and I traveled to this resort in February for two nights and loved our stay. We enjoyed bingo one evening, walking on the beach, relaxing poolside, and exploring the area in general. Our room was attractive and clean. The bed was comfortable and the resort itself was comfortable and classy. Breakfast was delicious, and we had no trouble getting seated even over the Presidents' Day weekend. We enjoyed breakfast in the main dining room, and our favorite place to eat was at the beach club pool; the lunch buffet had something for everyone, and we loved the real ice cream included in that! The resort is very clean and well-manicured, and a pleasure to walk or drive through with a golf cart. We rented a golf cart for our stay and used it all over the island and would definitely do it again!

We had a very enjoyable time at the Inn along with its' amenities but I have to say the villa we stayed in was quite pricey for what it was. Roughly $1200 per night and the "villa" which was really an old Florida ranch style home was extremely dated and in my opinion needed a complete re-hab. Most likely built in the 70's I don't think a thing has been done to it since. Very disappointing for the money.

Old world Florida in the middle of a quaint fishing village. You almost feel like you're staying in your very rich grandmother's house in 1940. Atmosphere is beautiful, food is incredible and staff all know your name. Can't say enough good about this inn or the island.

This place is wonderful. A step back to yesteryear.Wonderful food but there is a dress code. Stay was great on Temperpedic mattress! Excellent scenic Golf by the Bay. In the downtown area yet you feel secluded. Beach is accessible but not as convenient as some places but just a short pleasant walk.
