We stayed late spring 2017 and the Inn was amazing! Rooms were clean and gave you a home like feel. Great views from our room too. I loved that shopping and beaches were only a short golf cart or walk away from the Inn. Food was delicious as well, breakfast was my favorite. Already looking forward to 2018

If you're looking for a vacation spot that has taken care to maintain its original historical grace and beauty but with modern amenities a nice golf course, pool, beach club, and great service, this is it. Breakfast was great and the little village is fun by golf cart. Also Cottages and full size homes give you a lot of options. I have stayed here for business and pleasure in groups of all sizes. I've also stayed at the top hotels in Florida from Miami Beach to palm beach to Orlando to Jacksonville and this is the nicest hotel in Florida.

Had a nice weekend at this place. Pretty grounds, comfortable casitas, friendly staff. Things to improve: - lose the formality. The "old South" vibe isn't making your brand more attractive. People on vacation want informality, not feeling like they're entering a rule driven Southern plantation. - add food to the beach club. We had to leave the beach to get something to eat! Bar was good, add food. Add a server who takes drink/food orders and delivers to beach chairs. - pool was way too warm. Cool it down. - don't book parties that start at 6 and kick people out of the club. We paid to be on the beach and in the pool until sunset. Didn't appreciate being asked to leave to make room for the family reunion you booked during my vacation I paid thousands for. - Add minibars to the rooms. Also put a few bottles of water in the fridge. For the prices you charge, these extras are expected, not frivolous expenses.

We really enjoyed our recent stay here. We stayed in cottage 48-3 and really liked our room. It was a standard twin but it had a large closet, safe, dresser, chest of drawers and a desk but it didn't feel crowded. It was in a good location directly across the street from the inn. It had nice bath supplies as well as insecticide towelettes (very handy). The hotel is one of the stately hotels out of the past. It is very comfortable and the staff tries to make you feel that way. While it is not on the beach, it has a beach club that is just a couple blocks away that you can walk to, drive to or have guest services shuttle you to. We would highly recommend it and would like to return for a longer visit. If you are a golfer, my husband said the greens at the course were in the best shape that he had played on in Florida for a long time.

Beautiful rooms and so many spaces to linger alone or with friends. It is a transporting experience to comfort and tranquility. My husband and I go at least yearly and want to more often. The golf course is beautiful as are the croquet courts. The beach is nearby...you can walk it, drive it, or have the trolley transport you.
