Reviews for Cloister at The Boca Raton

Our Oasis

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

This is a resort like no other. Service that has been forgotten at some of the other so called five star resorts is the trademark of the Boca. Their attention to detail is beyond belief. If you’re looking for a complete package I strongly suggest you try the Boca Raton Resort. This was our third trip in the last six months and believe me we can’t wait for our next visit. I guess that alone tells you everything.

Best Florida hotel

Hi hotel was amazing, the dining was so good and accommodating. The pools, hot tubs, and the spa were awesome. I can’t wait for the rest of the hotel to be renovated bc more options will hopefully come. I can’t wait to come back to the Boca Raton in the near future.

5 star hotel-beautiful resort destination.

Since a major much needed restortation, the Boca Raton is a thorougly elegant property. From arrival to departure you are truly in the lap of luxury. Building, grounds and service are 5 star. We do a two night stay for special occasions like B-days and Anniversaries. Service and food are amazing. Some rooms are small but requesting a larger room with view when reserving is usually honored when you explain that you are celebrating. Atmosphere is quietly sophisticated and attention to detail is a hallmark at the BOCA. Staff is unobtrusive but expertly attuned to your every need. Expensive? of course and worth it. There are many quality resort hotels in Boca and the Palm Beach area but the Boca is the standout location. We avoid visiting if there is a large business gathering or convention. There are a number of special events held at the Boca and some make the stay more exciting. Inquire when booking.

A big NO and a small yes.

No and a small yes! Beautiful historic building and beautiful grounds. Adult pool full of children. Room's mini bar only has beer, one per person, for $ 800 a night, don't you think there should be other options 🤔. I called housekeeping and asked for something else since one of us doesn't drink beer and I received a blunt "this is what we provide" answer, no intention accommodating us. It is spring break but adults only pool should be just that, instead, there isn't any room to sit or relax. Bathroom ceiling is peeling, and furniture in the room has speckles of paint. There is mold in the soap holder. I have stayed at cheaper places with cleaner bathrooms and better service. Ate at one of the restaurants, Marisol, where we waited over an hour for our food. They did credit is one of the main dishes for the wait. Room key works for a day and stops working the day after or later in the day...we asked for an upgrade because we received an email stating we qualified for a free upgrade and were offered a room in the beach club section for another $1200. For me it is definitely an NEVER AGAIN.
