The view was incredible and yes it is a very tranquil place. Loved the hot tub. After a poor experience in the restaurant the first morning for breakfast we chose to eat elsewhere. Breakfast was very average and service was slow. There was only two of us and we ordered the same thing. Took forever to just get a cup of coffee. Drinks in the bar was same experience. Slow. Apparently they were prepping for an upcoming wedding. We didn’t feel important to anyone as customers.

Luxury in a beautiful nature setting. Great view from most of the windows and sizable balconies for enjoying the view and sunsets. Easy hiking from the hotel to the nearby marshes and lagoon, a bit further to the beach. We saw many birds and deer-- and a mountain lion! Excellent customer service at this hotel, too.

We had a lovely time at the Lodge which is a first class property with excellent rooms and great views of the tranquil Bay. Had cocktails and dinner at Drakes one night which was first-class. The staff at the office and in Drakes were very friendly, attentive and competent. Can't wait to go back.

Tranquil, relaxing coastal retreat. Lovely rooms, great views and a special place to recharge the batteries away from the hussle and bustle of daily life.

Great place to stay and the Restaurant that is on the same property (Drake's) is excellent so if you have Foodies with you ...this place is a winner. Hotel /Lodge staff are easy to work with and very good at their jobs. All around it was a wonderful time and we will be back there again in the future.
