Came here as high-end stay for a hockey showcase. I’m sure this is a nuisance for staff used to resort guests. From beginning to end this is the most competent staff I’ve ever encountered. Late at night they got my son’s hockey gear up at the desk when it was delivered by UPS and lord knows where it was, then they kindly gave us a late check out and helped me ship out the same hockey gear. All with a concerned attitude and cheerful smile. Love these people.

A beautiful resort, great showers and comfy bed. Pool was great and perfect for families. Enjoyed the lazy river. Business meeting facilities was great and they fed us well. Great food catered for us.

We had a great time at this small resort and water park. Only three pools and one was adults only. The kids pool was good and water slides and lazy river was nice to have. Only had one jacuzzi and they don't allow kids which was a bummer. The boat to your private beach was great but you have to bring your own towels, drinks and stuff. Nothing was there but a beach. Overall hotel was nice and great staff. The wifi was terrible throughout the hotel and in your room. Only issue I had was they always had conventions and weddings during out stay and they block off areas for them and you can't access them. Gets busy with those guest around and the staff makes them priority. Kinda awkward sometimes with our family in bathing suits and people dressed up and cooperate people around. They charged us for not returning towels (which they refunded after we called) which there is no way for them to keep track off, so much sure you check your invoice. The rooms were filled with outlets and usb slots for charging which was super convenient. Overall a good experience and smaller resort and water park from other places we been. We went during NY spring break and it was empty which was the best park.

Great experience overall! Check in was warm and friendly, the grounds are beautiful, we loved our room with a balcony, lunch at the pool restaurant was very slow and the food was mediocre, but everything else we had on property (both on our own at Mangroves and the dinners served at our conference), we re outstanding. The only major complaint was coming home with over 52 Noseum/nat bites from our first business dinner outside on one of the lawns. There was bug spray at every bar and we applied and reapplied regularly and it still didn't help. Most of us were getting eaten up by these bugs. If there's a way to get that under control, the resort would be perfection.

The hotel and resort (pool, lazy river, water slides) were all fantastic and beautiful. Water temp was perfect, and the private island is phenomenal (even saw some dolphins). The only two downsides. First - the air conditioning (shuts off and apparently is set to only work when you're in the room (won't hold/keep the set temp). Second - price of everything. Drinks as of 5/2024 were $16 for a mixed drink. Their "Cool Beans" convenience center has small soggy sandwiches for $14. The price of "convenience" makes it way more valuable to go to target down the road and buy everything offsight. Oh, there's also no microwave in your room and the refridgerator is very small, almost forcing you to pay for their overpriced itmes.
