We were so happy that they were pet friendly! It's a beautiful spot! Can't wait to go back next year if we can. We also took the complimentary boat ride and had a blast. Of course the town is not far away and we were happy to be in Boothbay once more.

Not a great investment for a family vacation. The website makes it sound awesome, but in reality it was rundown and poorly managed. Issues we had with odors, hvac, and ants were not addressed, and several of the amenities which attracted us to the property were closed. This last bit is the biggest reason we will never recommend this property to anyone. Management knew the amenities would be closed yet chose not to tell us until after the cancelation deadline had passed - so we had no opportunity to choose another place to spend all those vacation dollars. And it was a lot of dollars! Their choice is unethical, in my opinion. That said, if you're ready to throw money at the place, the setting is nice.

Had a spacious room, and it was quiet. Was attending a wedding for our son and we had an amazing experience. We enjoyed the views of the harbor, and deck area. Would like to point out that room did smell a bit musty.

This is a very family-friendly resort in a beautiful location. We enjoyed fishing on the dock, the boat tour, sunsets on the porch, meals at the Salty Stag, frogger in the game room, and smores at night. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. We would love to come back in the summer and make use of the bikes and pool.

We just loved this place, the staff was authentically kind and so helpful, the grounds were very well-kept, and water views and sunsets from our cottage porch were spectacular so we spent a lot of time out there. We ate at the Salty Stag all 3 nights, it was so good (separate review for deets). We stayed in Sunset A, which had a beautiful stone fireplace and a very comfortable king bed. Although I get the "perfectly imperfect" vibe and read the reviews for realistic expectations, the sofa (glad I brought an extra sheet to throw over it) needs a refresh and the carpeting has got to go, preferably replaced with a wood or laminate. There is hiking, which we love to do, right on the grounds and many other places with water views nearby. We would definitely go again.
