We just left the Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort after 1 week of the best costumer service and views. The weather was wonderful the water was wonderful. We had end of pontoon bungalow #35 and it was awesome. everyone there is so nice and helpful. We went off the resort a couple of nights to eat and the concierge arranged our reservations and cab for us. She also arranged a 4x4 trip that was great and a snorkeling excursion with pure snorkel and it was worth every dime we paid. Thank you Bora Bora Pearl for making our trip of a life time the best. Oh! and the beds were the best so comfortable.

A wonderful place where you may have a private bungalow to yourselves either over the water or on the land. This is a large resort located on a ring-reef island and has 3 places to dine and a large freshwater pool when you tire of the ocean. Most of water under and around the over-water bungalows is only 3 to 4 feet in depth and all is covered with a white coral sand bottom, so it is a perfect place to swim and float, and there is also a large beach area. Water taxis take you to-and-from the airport and also to-and-from the central island. Very good snorkeling is just out your back porch area in the over-water bungalows which also have a dock with a freshwater shower. The entire place is kept very clean and neat, and everyone was very friendly and polite. The only negative while we were there was that the restaurants and the bar were very under-staffed and most of the time only one of the three dining places was open at the same time.

We had an over water bungalow, it was truly a beautiful experience. The water which you could just step into was crystal clear plenty of fish and not deep so could be enjoyed by everyone. The resort is clean and well kept, could probably do with a little spruce up. The staff were quite friendly but not overly informative. We did see quite a few of the other resorts and we felt that Pearl Beach was probably one of the nicer ones as it is quite small in comparison. A must do when staying there is the shark and ray tour, this was truly amazing.

Everybody expects Bora Bora to be idyllic and it is. Pearl Resort has been imaginatively designed which is stunning to the eye. We stayed in an OWB which was lovely - the only down side was the lack of shade on the decking so one had to sit inside or burn. We requested an OWB facing the mountain. There were two available when we arrived - one facing the mountain, the other facing the boat pier. So we were allocated the latter until I complained. Suggest you check before arriving as they appear to allocate randomly without looking at requests. Some nice touches - it was my birthday and was given a bottle of champagne and a cake. All the staff where very friendly and helpful. Particularly the restaurant and bar manager "Thomas" who went the extra mile to be helpful. The beach is beautifully soft under foot and is raked clean every morning to a pristine standard - it is such a shame to ruin it by walking on the beach. One can walk straight into the sea and observe the large variety of fish around the coral. No cold water here. The swimming pool is also wonderful when you just want to relax. Now the glitches. First, do not eat grilled or fried food at lunch time unless you like studying flies on your food. They obviously like fatty food. Second, there is a major mosquito problem. They spray the gardens but not around the bar, pool or restaurant area so you are fair game to be eaten. Overall very beautiful but they do need to tackle the fly and mosquito problem.

Just returned from 9 days at the Pearl Beach in Bora Bora. We split our time between an overwater bungalow and a beachfront bungalow, which has an outdoor bathroom and a jacuzzi. They were both great! I am glad we tried them. All the staff were fantastic! Especially, Julian the GM and Teiva, the asst GM. They took really good care of us. THANK YOU!! The breakfast buffet was beautiful and comprehensive. Lots of choices. The lagoon and beach are spectacular! The spa was beautiful.
