The service at the restaurant at this property was awful. I have never reviewed a property. This is an exception. The wind offerings were bar stock or $500 and up. No 150-500 wines were available. This is a winery hotel. I cancelled my 1200 wine order after my dining experience. The hotel was very nice. The personnel had a who cares attitude with a few exceptions

Was my Husband’s birthday that we celebrated in the restaurant, and there was bone in the dish where it wasn’t supposed to be. My husband broke his tooth ( he has to pay 500€ for it ), but we the restaurant offered us a free diner, so we decided to leave it as it is. But in the end of the stay, they have charged us for the Vine from that dinner. Which was a bit unpleasant. Overall the stay was amazing, and views are beautiful.

Very disappointing from beginning to end. The staff seemed completely disinterested and uninvolved, like they could care less. Besides offering accommodation, the hotel was unable to help us with any bookings - airport transfer, in-house restaurant, spa and even at their own winery. We had booked the restaurant months ahead but due to flight delay we missed our reservation. Despite numerous requests and reminders, they did not accommodate us over the next five days that we stayed there. Tables were kept unoccupied all evening for guests with 9pm bookings, I understand that you do not oversell, but at least try to make an occasional accommodation for a hotel guest who flew half way across the globe to celebrate a birthday, it's minimal customer service, something that they do not believe in. If you read some other reviews carefully, you will notice the same issue with reservations. We found out later from local contacts that the owners entertain a lot of celebrities and important people so it's likely that regular hotel guests do not matter to them. The spa was a whole different story, far from luxurious. When you check in, they give you a disgusting plastic cup to carry around for water and hot tea so you have to hang on to it as they do not provide extras! On completion of my 80-minute facial the aesthetician, who lectured me on sun damage, did not apply sunscreen and told me to go the shop and use the tester on display...seriously?? There were no amenities in the spa or even the hotel room. We had to go to the reception to pick up a shower cap and cotton buds which were never replenished for the rest of our stay. Other than being surrounded by vineyards and natural beauty, there's no compelling reason to stay there.

A very beautiful Place to stay! Very friendly and hospitable staff! We felt very welcome with our two dogs! Next time we stay a couple of days to enjoy this beautiful hotel and also visit The Spa then!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed, Les Sources offered us a perfect stay. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the food and experience in all 3 restaurants is outstanding and the presentation of the rooms within the landscaped setting is just perfect. The village feel and access to the nearby woodland sculpture trail, running trail and the Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte is an added bonus. Breakfast was of a very high standard and treats in our room alongside an evening candle was a lovely touch. I’d highly recommend a stay if you are looking for a relaxing break in the French countryside. Although the delights of Bordeaux were only 25 mins away in a taxi too.
