Located in one of Boston's oldest neighborhoods, Battery Wharf Hotel is a collection of four buildings and offers a fresh and contemporary alternative to the city's more traditional hotels. With a smaller number of rooms, the hotel is more like a boutique urban retreat, evoking a residential feel. Guest chambers are designed to make the most of the waterfront location, while high-tech amenities are there for added convenience. The hotel is home to the AAA Four-Diamond Award-winning Sensing restaurant, an epicurean experience featuring a global menu of entrées that are creatively plated and prepared. Imbibing takes place in the Lobby Living Room, which sets the stage for conversation and impromptu toasts in a lounge-like setting.

Those with disabilities/ADA should stay elsewhere. Problems across the board, staff listen to you but fail to follow up and fix. Staff says sorry, but FAIL to fix after promising to do so. We are told an adjacent building is open, we go over, its closed. Back to the desk, told to go to diff door, we go over, locked. Email trail for dinner reservations in my hand, but staff cancelled them, care so little for customers, staff never told us. ADA room with shower shooting water out the handles bottom side, no fridge (promised one), NO SOAP!, non-working elec outlets, no hand towels, finally desk manager at checkout says she will refund hotel stay and send me email within 15 mins...it has now been 2 days. Two pages of line items for one added fee after another, and another, yet staff are dropping the ball repeatedly? Then gaslighting excuses! Very unprofessional, very juvenile. I have had better service at youth hostels.

My husband and I stayed at Battery Wharf Hotel for Sail Boston 2026. It was the perfect location. The staff was wonderful and the food was delicious. We have stayed here before and we will definitely be back!

We stayed during the weekend of the Tall Ships - and was the wharf for the ship turnaround. They were EXCEPTIONALLY prepared not only with staffing, but security. Upon FRIDAY check in, we were given (and put on) wristbands for Saturday for security reasons, to ensure guests had access and that the general public had limited access. The staff was AMAZINGLY friendly. Even though there were TONS of people, each staff person treated us as though we were the only one - such individualized attention. They allowed us an amazing experience - allowing my 87 yr old dad to watch the Tall Ships with the comforts of a comfortable chair,

The price for my room did not reflect the amenities provided. No hand or body soap, no small refrigerator, and no room slippers. The only luxury item was the bathrobe and I'll add the very comfortable bed. That's it. Nothing else makes this hotel above-and-beyond a 4-star hotel. Yet, I paid double the rate- $775 for one night. I guess I was paying for the close proximity to Boston harbor, which, by the way, is accessible to the public. I stayed here because of the Sail Boston event. Otherwise, no other reason to stay here in the future. There are many others far better for less price.

Hotel was great and great location. On site resturant was not so good. Breakfast buffet was ice cold with no heating elements
