Located in one of Boston's oldest neighborhoods, Battery Wharf Hotel is a collection of four buildings and offers a fresh and contemporary alternative to the city's more traditional hotels. With a smaller number of rooms, the hotel is more like a boutique urban retreat, evoking a residential feel. Guest chambers are designed to make the most of the waterfront location, while high-tech amenities are there for added convenience. The hotel is home to the AAA Four-Diamond Award-winning Sensing restaurant, an epicurean experience featuring a global menu of entrées that are creatively plated and prepared. Imbibing takes place in the Lobby Living Room, which sets the stage for conversation and impromptu toasts in a lounge-like setting.

Location is right in the harbor with amazing views. The rooms are very relaxing. Absolutely loved the bathroom layout and design.

Beautiful hotel and super comfy. Right on the water and very relaxing. Stayed there for a night with girlfriends and enjoyed walking around, had dinner and drinks at the bar as well as local recommendations!!

I stayed at the Battery Wharf Hotel for 5 days of fun in Boston and couldn’t have been happier. I’d read some mixed reviews before booking, so I was a little apprehensive, but the experience exceeded expectations. I booked a standard queen and asked for a high, quiet room - was told it wouldn’t have a harbour view, but it did, and it was lovely watching the water from bed each morning. The room was enormous - especially if you’re visiting from the UK! Everything was spotless and the housekeeping team kept it that way. The hotel feels peaceful and secure, I felt completely safe walking around on my own at night. I didn’t use the restaurant or bar, as there’s so much nearby, but for anyone wanting a quiet, comfortable base rather than a full-service resort, this hotel is ideal. If I’m being picky, the only downsides were the lack of a fridge and slightly noisy air conditioning. Some finishes could use a light refresh, but given the size, location, and calm atmosphere, that’s a small trade-off. Highly recommend the Battery Wharf Hotel, especially to solo female travellers and anyone from the UK looking for space, comfort, and quiet in the heart of Boston. I’d definitely stay again.

Great location! The rooms are nice, but the bed was a bit uncomfortable. They're only double beds, not two queen beds. So it's a very tight fit for two full grown adults. We did have to beg each day for our extra towels and a backup roll of toilet paper. The security door didn't lock. The ice machine didn't work either, but they would deliver ice when we called to request it. We had two different coffee machines, they both leaked all over the dresser and the floor. So beware of this, we didn't notice until coffee water was all over. I highly recommend this hotel if you just need a place to lay your head for two or three nights because this is a great location within walking distance of many things to do. Also close to many restaurants and the three bakeries. It is not too far from the ferry or the train for either direction. So if the price is right for you, book it. You can always request what you need and they will respond!
