Located in one of Boston's oldest neighborhoods, Battery Wharf Hotel is a collection of four buildings and offers a fresh and contemporary alternative to the city's more traditional hotels. With a smaller number of rooms, the hotel is more like a boutique urban retreat, evoking a residential feel. Guest chambers are designed to make the most of the waterfront location, while high-tech amenities are there for added convenience. The hotel is home to the AAA Four-Diamond Award-winning Sensing restaurant, an epicurean experience featuring a global menu of entrées that are creatively plated and prepared. Imbibing takes place in the Lobby Living Room, which sets the stage for conversation and impromptu toasts in a lounge-like setting.

This hotel is TOP NOTCH! I have stayed multiple times and the staff is so professional and helpful. The location is perfect and if you get a room with a water view it cannot be beat. Can't say enough about how fantastic this hotel is. The welcome from the front desk staff makes ALL the difference.

My fiancée and I stayed at the Battery wharf back in January for her birthday week end and all I could say it was nothing but a fiasco ! Let me start by staying the guy Manny who checked her in was more busy being on his phone then her . No empathy at all . Although we had arrived before Check In time that did not give him the right to show lack of professionalism by checking his phone every 5mns instead of doing his Job. and the manager Mikela wasn't doing any better but giving us a fake smile instead the4 star service that they are selling on the website. The room was outdated with half water view than a full one given the price that we paid and no fridge . Like really? Even the Days Inn have a mini fridge but not you guys? when I asked for one I was being told that it was upon request? Never heard t=something so absurd before . Like excuse U? The Food at the restaurant was basic, unflavored and pricey and the chef rude and unprofessional that we only ate there once . Anyways we still stayed since the location was great but tell me why while I was on a zoom meeting in one of the afternoons tell me why I saw a lady coming out from the back with some very revealing leggings and a sweater and a ponytail like she came straight from the gym walking all over the lobby with a big smile? When I enquired about who she was it turns out she was the Director of Front Office. Say What?? what kind of examples you are setting for your team if yourself you need a whole leadership 101 and etiquette caching? I was so shocked and disturbed by her outfit that I just left the lobby to finish the meeting in my room . Overall it was nothing but a disaster and I hope that that lady got fired because she is no good for a so called luxury property and made me feel like I was staying at the Ramada instead .

They overcharged us by a considerable amount. Made a reservation on their website. The confirmation read "$232.07 includes fees and taxes". Upon check-out the invoice read $272.84. There were no additional charges like parking or food, that was the base price. No one said there was a price change at check-in or check-out. I realized the overcharge when I got home. Upon calling for a refund, I was met with confrontation although eventually they agreed to refund the $40.77 overcharge.

We lost our power during the storm and decided to come back to the Battery Wharf hotel. We have come before when we lose power. We were warmly greeted by Sophia at the front desk and she upgraded our reservation. Our room was lovely. It overlooked the water and had a very large bathroom with a soaking tub. We took advantage of the in room expresso machine. The area around the hotel is beautiful. We like the proximity to the North End and enjoyed a cozy dinner on Hanover Street. It was a short walk from the hotel. The room was very clean and the common areas are great spaces to hang out. We will return!
