Located in one of Boston's oldest neighborhoods, Battery Wharf Hotel is a collection of four buildings and offers a fresh and contemporary alternative to the city's more traditional hotels. With a smaller number of rooms, the hotel is more like a boutique urban retreat, evoking a residential feel. Guest chambers are designed to make the most of the waterfront location, while high-tech amenities are there for added convenience. The hotel is home to the AAA Four-Diamond Award-winning Sensing restaurant, an epicurean experience featuring a global menu of entrées that are creatively plated and prepared. Imbibing takes place in the Lobby Living Room, which sets the stage for conversation and impromptu toasts in a lounge-like setting.

We had a very nice stay overall. The location was excellent, and our room was clean, updated, and comfortable. When we requested a room with a water view, the staff was very accommodating and quickly made the change for us. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. Housekeeping was fabulous. Our room was spotless each day, the bed was neatly made, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like the Nespresso machine and complimentary bottled water. The only issue we encountered was with the air conditioning. It wasn't working when we returned from a night out around 9:00pm, so we called the front desk. A maintenance technician came within 30 minutes to repair it. Despite that inconvenience, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel for its excellent location, comfortable accommodations, outstanding housekeeping, and attentive staff.

This hotel was a surprise pick from another travel site for an overnight in Boston. What a delight! A beautiful location on the waterfront near the North End and Long Wharf, therefore an easy place to get around the city. The staff was helpful and friendly…(the doorman made you want to stay right from the get go!). We did not have the opportunity to try their restaurant and/or bar, but it looked lovely. Next time!

My husband and I were vacationing in Boston and our flight was canceled. The hotel we had been staying at was booked as were most in the city. We arrived at this hotel and were fortunate to speak to Sophia at the front desk who went above and beyond to find us a room. It was a lovely stay in a very nice room right on the harbor. Great location close to the North End restaurants and walking path along the harbor.would definitely recommend !

Stayed here for business and while the location is beautiful the hotel smells. At check in I had forgot my AMEX card and accidentally booked an AMEX rate and they could not honor the rate. For $800 a night there was not even a mini fridge, my do not disturb light was broken and I had to pay $7 for a coffee. Could not even get through to the front desk to check out. Will never stay here again and will pass to my colleagues as well.

We had a wonderful experience here. The location can't be beat. It's as if you are staying in the soul of Boston. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean. Just a heads up, the Queen size beds have very small mattresses. Not like a Queen at home, so plan accordingly.
