Located in one of Boston's oldest neighborhoods, Battery Wharf Hotel is a collection of four buildings and offers a fresh and contemporary alternative to the city's more traditional hotels. With a smaller number of rooms, the hotel is more like a boutique urban retreat, evoking a residential feel. Guest chambers are designed to make the most of the waterfront location, while high-tech amenities are there for added convenience. The hotel is home to the AAA Four-Diamond Award-winning Sensing restaurant, an epicurean experience featuring a global menu of entrées that are creatively plated and prepared. Imbibing takes place in the Lobby Living Room, which sets the stage for conversation and impromptu toasts in a lounge-like setting.

Wonderful hotel in a quiet location on the water and just a 5 minute walk from the North End. Great staff and fitness center.

There to visit our daughter. Loved being on the water. Room was very nice and bed was comfortable. Close walking distance to so much. Staff was so helpful. Property around the buildings surrounded with plants and flowers and places to sit to enjoy the water.

We booked waterfront premium hotel room and stay at Boston Warf Hotel for special family occasion on April 28 and 29th, 2026. When we arrived, the valet was extremely uncourteous and putting pressure on us to use valet saying that we had just 15 minutes of check in otherwise we have to pay all day price plus tips. As we entered, we observed that carpeting and lobby area looked dated. We were checked in on the lobby level floor in the back where there was water view. However, as we approached our room, we could hear loud noises and feel vibrations from heavy construction. We thought it was some construction outside the hotel, but we were in a rush to get to an event, so we ignored it. When we checked in, we were not told of any construction noise or disturbance. The next day at 7am in the morning we were awakened by a loud/heavy construction/drilling noise. The construction as it turned out was in the hotel premises next door room to us being built/constructed. I went to the front desk to complain about the situation and spoke with the “Director of Front Office (Director)” who was very rude to me about the situation and seem to offer a change of room which was significantly lower grade than what we had booked. The title of the Director was a glorified title for an uncultured personality who had no clue what customer service is. She was speaking to me on a high pitch hoping to scare me which failed. I left the discussion angry and we went for breakfast outside the hotel. Upon returning to the room, I called front desk and asked for the Manager/General Manager (GM). I was told the GM was in a meeting and would call me back in a half hour. In a half hour I heard back from the front desk, and I was asked to come to the front. I requested that the GM come to my room so that I wanted him to experience what we were experiencing. I was told that they would meet with me at the front desk only. So, I went there. When I reached in a two-minute conversation I was told to vacate the premises within 1.5 hours as my behavior was inappropriate. The manager told me that my previous day’s deposit was already refunded the night before and no further charge will be made as they have cancelled our reservation. The GM said the construction did not begin at 7am and he was there when the construction started and he said the noise was mild sanding of the luxury room being built. Clearly lying and trying to intentionally minimize the disturbance and using intimidation. We left the hotel premises as soon as possible. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone based on our experience with the accommodation, hotel décor and dating. Our room furniture, carpet and the bathroom were dated for a premium waterfront room that we paid for. The management and staff behavior in our experience did not match the cosmopolitan environment and cultural mix that City of Boston represents.
