Stayed at the Colonnade in April 2017 for a couple days, fully recommendable. Located in the Back Bay area, means you are close enough to the must-see stuff (Freedom trail etc) and walk if you wanted (and if you are in shape) but also near some other beautiful Boston sights (Berklee school of music, Boston public library, Boston MoFA) and shopping centers, real good balance of a location I must say. Hotel staff very refined and helpful (seeing me coming down Huntington Ave after my run and bringing out a bottle of water as I go through the revolving doors, that's a good touch!). Would stay here each time we are in Boston, definitely recommended.

The service was exceptional. The room was clean and bright and nicely laid out. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but otherwise in good working order . The restaurant was very nice. We only had a late night bar menu meal but the service was good and food delicious.

Very nice room. Wee located for my conference at Northeastern University. Excellent restaurant. Best service I have had at a hotel in quite a while. I was going to be tied up in meetings and concerned about getting a boarding pass that would not leave me in the final boarding group and needing to check luggage. One of the front desk staff, Fred, got my pass for me while I was away and left it in an envlope for me at the desk. He actually set the alarm on his watch so that he would not forget when the boarding passes would be available for my flight. Much appreciated. First rate!!

We recently had a wonderful stay at the Colonnade while my husband ran the Boston Marathon. We were in town for 4 nights and really enjoyed the hotel as well as the friendly and courteous staff. The only down side would be the extremely loud wall unit for heating/cooling which was enclosed in a wooden case. It's clearly outdated and was extremely loud any time it was on. We usually travel with ear plugs so luckily the noise didn't disrupt our sleep but it was very loud every time it turned on. Otherwise, a pleasant visit and location can't be beat!
