Stayed here for 3 nights at the start of our 12 night New England exploration, and couldn't have picked a better spot. From the friendly doorman who greeted us on arrival to the beaming front of house team who checked us in, we felt immediately at home and relaxed. Rooms were perfectly fine, good natural light, comfy mattresses and a decent shower. We didn't eat in the hotel as we wanted to walk out to local venues for our breakfasts & dinner. The Colonnade was ideally situated between Back Bay & Boston Common. We were able to walk to Fenway Park to enjoy a baseball game with the Boston Red Sox, and then could walk to the delightful Newbury Street, and walk along its many bijoux shops & cafes to the equally enchanting area around Beacon Hill. What made the Colonnade really stand out were its ever cheerful and helpful staff...everyone had a ready smile and eager to answer our many questions. On our last afternoon, we also made the most of its great rooftop bar, and well worth booking if you're here in the summer months.

We stayed at the Colonnade Hotel recently following a fantastic rooftop pool fundraiser. The hotel staff was courteous and attentive, and the rooms were clean, spacious and tastefully decorated with a great king-sized bed. The Boston themed Charles River famous “rubber ducky” in the bath was a nice touch. It was fun to hang out and enjoy the rooftop pool and bar during our stay at the hotel. Before the fundraiser event we enjoyed some artisan cocktails at Brasserie JO’s bar and then ate dinner there with friends after the fundraiser. It was a delicious and very memorable meal, and one that definitely will bring us back to hotel and the restaurant. We loved it!

Had an amazing time with the Chef Roof Top Pool event, followed by an amazing dining experience at Brasserie Jo. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, making our one night getaway a time to remember.

We stayed in a lovely, spacious room on a Thursday night on the 11th floor facing the Prudential Center. Big windows and small but nice bath. We returned for a stay the following Saturday night. We were given a room facing the opposite direction on the 8th floor. It was remarkably smaller and cramped. Frustrating, particularly because it was more expensive. All that said, Donnie at the front desk was remarkably engaging and helpful in getting us restaurant reservations and driving. Kudos to him! We will return!
