This hotel is beautiful! The moment we walked in everyone was so helpful and kind. It’s also located in a great area. Not too busy, but close enough to a lot of great spots. I would definitely return.

I have traveled to Boston and stayed in Back Bay area many times but this is the first time I tried the Colonnade hotel and I am glad that I did. It is very conveniently located opposite to the Prudential Center (and down the street from the Marriott Copley Place). If you enjoy a stroll on Newbury Street, this hotel is just minutes away from that as well. This hotel is very well maintained and clean with nice and professional staff (Mr. Klemer was very helpful with my missing Amazon package). It is connected to the Colonnade service apartments and I think they share the parking and facilities which is not a problem at all. In fact, I find the Colonnade's parking a plus. It is connected to the hotel and I just have to get off the elevator on the 2nd floor to get to my car. The hotel that I used to stay in the area provided valet parking which is nice but I find the Colonnade's parking even more convenient since I don't have to have wait for my car or have the hassle of calling ahead. In terms of the rooms, the pros are that they are clean and modern. The cons are that you may find the room ever so slightly on the small side (I stayed in a double queen room and found that I had trouble accessing the closets). The room also lacks a room safe. Other than that, a very good hotel option for your next trip to Back Bay area - a good value for money hotel with friendly and helpful staff!

First of all, I am from NY with a child who goes to school in Boston. A frequent visitor to many hotels there. I stayed at the Colonnade from March 22nd to 25th. I was very impressed with my email communication prior to arriving as i was arriving a day after a snow storm and dealing with cancellation of flights. The hotel was very accommodating by honoring early check in with no extra charge. Beautiful room and everyone that works for the hotel was super polite and helpful. Security that weekend was amazing as well as they had some March Madness celebrations going on. I shared this experience with consierge at check out who was Thomas. Amazing and professional individual whom even tried to assist with rates for a future bookings in May for a graduation. The prices were doubled so I ended up choosing another regular hotel for May. It was not a bother as I appreciated the steps he went through and time given to make us feel appreciated as guests. My one and only negative about this stay is my credit card. I checked out on March 25th and today is April 10th and my deposit was not released. I contacted my credit card company who advise me that the hotel did not release my deposit and needs a reference number. To date ..I have called the Colonnade four times and yet my card was not released. I spoke to Wilson twice who emailed Bruce in accounting..I called and left a message for Bruce. Bruce never called me back and I was told he only works 9-5pm. I work those hours too and I am so dissatisfied with the hotel management. All the reviews you read is about the consierge or other staff. Management has no care and now I have to proceed to disputed my charges as the Colonnade is still holding it and it for services I did not receive. There are so many other hotels that you will have a grand and even more amazing stress free time ..just look around. Boston is beautiful and I will be visiting in May..JUST NOT THE COLONNADE! Sad Mr. BRUCE ans team! Thank you Wilson and Thomas! You guys will go places in your careers! Bibi Deokaran

We came over from Liverpool UK to Boston to see Bon Jovi, it was somewhat of a last minute decision and we relied on Tripadvisor when choosing a hotel. The location is good and close to some of the best sights in Boston, a major plus of the location is the fact the Boston Trolley Tour stops right outside the hotel. The hotel itself is excellent, the staff on the front desk are very attentive and helpful, the restaurant and bar is just through some doors in the lobby. Our room was a good size and very clean, it had everything you need for a short stay tv, mini fridge, coffee machine, safe, iron etc... The bathroom was also very clean and was a decent size. We were thrilled with our rubber duck with the hotel name on and it now sits proudly at home in our own bathroom. We have travelled all over the world and stayed in many of the top hotels in the world, some hotels have spectacular views, some have luxurious rooms, some have magnificent Spa’s, The Colonnade Hotel has Norman. Norman is a great ambassador for Boston and a credit to the hotel, we just loved chatting to him whilst waiting for the Trolley Tour to arrive, nothing is too much trouble and he has some great knowledge of his city and thus gave us some great tips for things to see and do. It’s very rare we go back to the same hotel but if we ever return to Boston The Colonnade will be where we’ll be staying. I can’t recommend it high enough, I’d have given it four stars but Norman made it a five star stay.

We had an excellent stay at The Colonnade on a family visit to Northeastern University. The staff was helpful and friendly..on the phone and in person. Our room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. We appreciated the convenient location (close to the NU and the T), the attention to detail (high quality bedding), and exceptional service very much.
