Great location, but poor service. Rooms are very small with a tiny bathroom. The breakfast in the restaurant was really bad, very expensive and not good at all. Very limited options in the menu, and a poor and very bad buffet. One of the concierge man also was very rude when we ask for something.

The hotel is nice, well located and the room is very good. Friendly staff with a nice restaurant. Very close to Haynes Convention Centre, and metro station. The shopping centre is just across the street and can be reached using the underground pass.

Overall a decent 3 star hotel. If you get yourself a good rate and have a solid sleep you will not regret to stay here. Otherwise look further. Be aware that hotel prices in Boston are insane. Pros: - centrally located within easy walking distance to all Back-Bay attractions and restaurants - fairly clean - free wifi Cons: - extremely noisy (street noise from Huntington Avenue as well as from hallways since doors are only paper-thin and walls are only ticky-tacky) - lots of wear and tear - staff indifferent at best

Renovated hotel in heart of Boston, elegant, charming, beautiful lobby with marble, I thought the rooms, while not huge are charming. What makes this place is the service. They greeted me by name each day, hustled and were pleasant. Great restaurant in the hotel. The server I had worked their over 15 years! Classy joint! Convenient to art museums, colleges, public transport. Will stay again. Way better than high rise hotels around it. Joe was awesome for customer service as was Deneke Norman (hope I got their names right!).

My wife and I stayed at the Colonnade while going to the city to visit the Tall Ships. We've stayed here several times over the years and its like seeing an old friend each time we return. The staff is always so friendly and genuine. We went up to the Roof Top Pool and had a drink at the bar. Again, the staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. This was the first time we've been back since the renovations at the pool area. There is a beautiful bar, new decking, lounge chairs, high tops and private cabanas as well as food service. It felt like we were at a Caribbean Resort. Our room was beautiful and updated as well, very modern and new. We had a great breakfast the next morning at Brasserie Joe down stairs. The service and food were both excellent. What a great stay, it's no wonder you see so many smiles at this hotel, you can't help but be happy while you are there. We're looking forward to our next visit.
