Enjoyed my stay at the Colonnade! Stayed 2 nights, great location. Did not have a car but easily walked to great restaurants & shopping! Very convenient to walk thru the shopping area (inside) to avoid the chilly weather. Stayed in a suite, very spacious rooms, nice spacious bathrooms. Very clean! Nice bar, friendly staff, good breakfast. Hope to stay here again!

I really enjoyed the Colonnade Hotel. Location was great and the staff was awesome. The rooms were a good size and beds comfortable. One of the few independent hotels in Boston, so it was nice to patronize it. Highly recommended...

We were at the Colonnade for the Boston Seafood Show. Aesthetically, the hotel is pleasing and everything is neat and clean. Norman, the bellman, could not have been more friendly. He offered the best service of anyone at the hotel. Again, the rooms are a nice size, the Keureg's in the room are nice, the vanity products are great. What was not nice was that 2 of the four showers taken there were cold, while the other two were scalding hot. We ordered breakfast and it was good, but the Belgian waffle was cold, hard and not tasty. Please put more than one wastebasket in the room! And the overwhelming smell of vanilla slaps you in the face upon entering the hotel. It is an assault to the senses. I don't mind a mild, pleasing scent, but when you have to hold your nose until you get to the elevator, it's not a good thing. Overall, the hotel is well maintained and in a great location. But the little things really did add up on this trip.

I stayed at the Colonnade overnight on a Saturday for a convention at the near by Hynes Convention Center. The door staff and front desk staff were very welcoming and met, then exceeded, our accessibility needs. Parking on site was a breeze! Special thank you to Stacy and Lucy for the deal and the tray of food which was sent to our room on arrival! And to chief Nick for the food/diet accommodations! Room was cozy and wheelchair accessible. Quick walk to the Prudential Center and the convention center. Looking forward to returning for the summer to use that rooftop pool... :D Bonus points for the 360 degree Boston skyline views!

I was looking for a one night stay in a hotel close to Berklee College of Music. I prefer smaller independent hotels, but once I read the reviews on The Colonnade I was hooked. It did not disappoint. A three block walk via a Greenway from the Amtrak station I checked in in the evening and had room service in 15 minutes along with a 15% discount that was provided upon check-in. The room was spacious and clean with lots of windows providing a wonderful glimpse of the Back Bay. I had a glass of rose in the bar downstairs and a wonderful chat with the bartender who'd been working there over 30 years. The only down moment was the slightly grumpy woman working at check-in. I travel all the time and I can't always say what makes a hotel a success except the Colonnade succeeded in every way. I want to come back and try the rooftop pool, and don't miss the cheap and New York style coffee shop just a block away.
