I have stayed several times at the hotel having a daughter attending college in Boston. Each time has been wonderful, love the hotel, the rooms, the Oak bar, but it is always the staff that makes it so special. This past trip I had a difficult morning that the hotel was aware of. It had nothing to do with the hotel but they were amazing. Denise Hadad the Assistant GM went out of her way to ensure a great stay. Danielle at the front desk was so great on check in and throughout my stay. She is a great asset for your hotel. Ben at the Valet is amazing. Khadija in the Gold Lounge went above and beyond to help me carry some items to my room for my wife. Jonathan, the server in the Oak Bar was especially amazing during this time. This hotel is a true gem, both for the hotel but more importantly BECAUSE of the people working there. There were many others I interacted with and wished I could have remembered more of their names. I highly recommend the hotel for any parents coming to Boston for college activities, or frankly any other reason under the sun. It is one of those special places.

The best measure of the service at a property or business is how they treat you when things go terribly wrong for a customer. In our case, the hotel was overbooked and there was no room for my family and two little dogs. After a long day of driving, this was terrible news for us and I could tell that rooms were in short supply in Boston on this Labor Day weekend. Fortunately for us, Carolina Sanchez, the assistant manager saved the day for us and was able to secure a magnificent executive suite at a nearby property around the corner. Without us having to argue for anything, she refunded our room and took care of the room at the neighboring property. Furthermore, we were treated so well at the other hotel as the staff knew of our predicament and warmly welcomed us. We greatly appreciate Carolina's professionalism and generosity. She is a fabulous representation of the Fairmont brand. We hope to be able to stay at the property in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at FCP. It's a beautiful, old hotel well located in the city. Our main complaint is that we had to pay a $35 "Urban Experience Fee" which provided a $45 credit for dinner or drinks and a free in-room movie. This had no value to us as we had dinner and evening plans. It could not be used for breakfast. They would not waive it. So, it was just another surprise hidden cost.

This was a great stay. Everyone was so helpful and the the hotel was very clean in a great, walkable location. I will definitely stay here again.

We only stayed one night but ate at the restaurant and everyone was wonderful. Central to all but with quite rooms, attentive staff.
