Fairmont Copley Plaza

The hotel is exquisite with so much beauty to enjoy. The staff is amazing and made our trip very memorable. We were fortunate to be in the Gold Lounge and met some amazing people. The following men went above and beyond taking care of us- Kevin, Jay and Gilbert. We hope to go back again!

We recently stayed for one night and would highly recommend the Fairmont. The woman checking us in was lovely (thank you Taylor), the room was well appointed, the staff were friendly and the location was wonderful.

I’m now traveling to Boston more with my youngest in a local university. After the Ritz, the Langham, and the Mandarin Oriental, I have been won over by the Fairmont Copley Plaza. Why? Because the incredible hospitality of the staff. From this point on I will be booking a Gold/Club level room to enjoy the amazing hospitality of Kevin. He runs a club lounge like a VVIP experience. I’m going through my calendar now to book dates in the future so all of my trips can have this level of service.

So I would not stay there again. I was pretty disappointed, honestly. First, the good. It's a great location. The building is beautiful, and the staff was nice. The bed is an actual mattress, not one of these horrible foam things. That part was good, but it somehow managed to be incredibly uncomfortable and did not feel like an actual clean bed, more like a double. Pillows were horrible. We asked for more, they brought us more, they were equally horrible. Room is surprisingly tiny and just generally very tired and in poor repair. Tub didn't drain, hot water and sink didn't work, the Wi-Fi was a mess. Everything was distinctly below par. I've certainly stayed in worse hotels, but not at this price point.

We hosted our New England Soiree (mini gala/fundraiser) at Fairmont and WOW! The event spaces are beautiful, the hotel is lovely, and service was exceptional. Overall, their Events team is remarkable! Lauren Bowker was wonderful to work with leading into the event and made sure we were well taken care of on event night - no matter how silly the request seemed. Along with Chef Michael who oversaw the culinary experience and Kathleen, Chris, Angel, Julio, Ramel and Cheyenne who were just a few of the many incredible servers, bartenders and Event Ops Managers that made our event such a success.
