I stayed at the Firmont Copley for 4 nights on a business trip and enjoyed every minute of it. The common areas are gorgeous and full of style, history, and elegance. The staff are extraordinarily courteous and friendly anywhere in the hotel. The rooms are updated and nice, especially the bathroom. The mini-fridge is stocked with beer/wine/liquor shots and sodas, all for an additional fee. The actual bedroom is standard with a TV, desk, and nightstands; nothing spectacular. Location is perfect for sightseeing and being in the middle of Boston. I'd certainly stay here again if given the opportunity.

We stayed here for a conference. The conference room was gorgeous. Very relaxing be surrounded by such beautiful architecture. This hotel location couldn't be better, so close to Newbury street and prudential center.

I recently had a girls weekend in Boston. We loved staying at the Fairmont. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel itself is beautiful and we loved historic charm. The staff were all courteous and helpful, although I do wish someone had mentioned the late parking charge at some point, it may not have made any difference but I would have appreciated being made aware before hand. We had a room on the gold floor and we really enjoyed the breakfast in the lounge each morning. We only enjoyed the cocktail snacks one evening and that was only because the girls who were working in the lounge were kind enough to bring out some of the leftovers (we got there about 5 minutes late and almost everything had been tidied, it really was so kind of them). All the snacks we had were fantastic and we were starving after a full day of shopping so they really hit the spot pre-dinner. All and all a fantastic weekend at a great hotel!

Been a year since staying here and, must say, the accommodations this visit were far better than last (last year there were literally thread bare...kid you not...towels in the bathroom). As noted by everyone, the lobby of this building is beautiful. The staff runs lukewarm to very friendly and helpful...hate that one of the first things always "suggested" upon checking in is an upgrade. As repeat customers to Fairmont (and no, not just this facility) you'd think they'd offer a free upgrade. The bathroom in this room was larger than last and, while not stately, was more than adequate. The tub, despite having grip strips/pads, was very slippery (accident waiting to happen!). The room was clean, although it would have been nice if the tea had been replenished. Overall, this is a nice hotel. The attendants at the door were usually friendly and helpful. On one occasion, when asked if we wanted a cab and declined stating we were using Uber, the demeanor changed but this was the exception rather than the rule. Nothing special, nothing terrible...just ok at an exaggerated Boston rate.

I stayed at this outstanding property during a recent convention in Boston. The meeting was in South Boston, and I took the T daily. I know Boston well since I did some of my medical training there, so I knew this area well. This is an older, stately hotel with a very ornate lobby. The rooms are spacey and very well appointed. I must admit to having a predilection for Fairmont and am a member of their new Presidents club - not a disclaimer, rather an endorsement. The service just absolutely sells this chain. You know that service will be impeccable - this one is no exception. My room was interior facing and there was plenty of space. The bathroom was white marble with rich appointments. The towels were luscious. I arrived late and ordered room service - a lobster roll! It was probably the best lobster roll I have had. The roll perfectly toasted and buttered lightly. The lobster was tender, warm and in a champagne vinegarette (I think). Yum. This came with French fries (my guilty pleasure) sprinkled with Old Bay seasoning. The cleaning crew were perfect. They noticed that I used the caffeinated coffee in the supplied Keurhig so added extra, and gave bottled water for my AM coffee. Superb service; I have to say that I've come to expect this from this chain. I ate breakfast in the restaurant, Oak Room, which I previously reviewed. Outstanding, high quality food, and perfect service. I had the lobster eggs Benedict- over-the-top!!! This hotel is near the commons, Newberry Street, Hynes Convention Center, and the green and Orange lines. Fairmont is synonymous with outstanding. I have three upcoming Fairmont stays: Quebec's Frontenac, Mont Tremblant and Monte Carlo. Work can beat me up all they want - I have a lot to look forward to!!!
