My partner & I stayed here Pride weekend and what an awesome location. First time at this hotel and wow were we impressed. The hotel has a lot of charm and history. I booked this room thru my Chase ultimate rewards portal and got an awesome deal for a Saturday night included was a $100 food credit, free breakfast, a room upgrade to a suite at check-in. Although the suite they put us in was an accessible room with a very low shower head, were 6'3 we requested a different room and they got us in a comparable room quickly. Staff was friendly and the adjoining restaurant Oak + long bar was fantastic. Great drinks a HUGE bar and good food. I would recommend staying at the Fairmont Copley Sq. on your next trip to boston.

My wife and I prepaid a week at the hotel, but could barely make it thru the week. The carpets in the hallways and in our room were dirty when we arrived and still were when we left 6 days later. We are very frequent business travellers, and travel the world and hence haven seen so many hotels. Paint is peeling off everywhere, the safety catch on the door is loose due to missing bolts, the constant noise from the aircon is very disturbing as the central units are just outside the guest room windows, and there is a constant noise from the hallway as the guest room door is very old and worn down and offer almost no sound isolation. I had to put a coffe cup in the bathroom window to keep it open as the latch did not work. Being a construction engineer, I don't even dare to estimate the amount of money you need to sink in the place to bring it up to a reasonable standard. On a beautiful warm summer morning at 7am we tried to get breakfast served outside (the hotel does outside serving), but the staff was too lazy to allow this - half an hour later they changed their mind and started serving outside anyway, but then we'd already had breakfast outside at some other place. The day before, we had to wait 40 minutes for a simple order to arrive from the kitchen (yoghurt granolas and a small mac&cheese) - what will the kitchen do if the dining room is full? Fairmont is supposed to be 4-star hotel, but I cannot fathom who gave it those 4 stars as the place is very run down and the staff is posh to a degree where they don't care. All together we cannot recommend the Boston Fairmont Copley Square to anybody as there are many more attractive places to stay - I'd call it a Flopnik!

Enjoyed five nights at this beautiful historic hotel with outstanding ambiance, food and service. We were there to attend a national organization's annual business meeting. On arrival our bellman gave us an architectural history of the building. The staff was attentive and friendly. The large group lunches were excellent and our closing banquet was unbelievably delicious - properly medium rare filet and two pieces of lobster claw meat. Fairmont hotels are always outstanding and Copley Plaza is certainly one of their finest. Their lobby dog, Carly Copley, is a special ambassador and fun to pet and even take for a walk!

Hotel was excellent, restaurent was way overpriced. Room was clean and acceptable. Ended up paying over$100 for a breakfast. In room dining experience was fine. Concierge services were exceptional and the staff were very helpful.
