Whenever we come to Boston we stay at the Fairmont Gold floor. The perks of breakfast and canapés are worth it. This time we got the optional room upgrade and had the amazing one bedroom suite. We had a bedroom, living room, two closets and plenty of room. Great park view. The downside Was our bathroom was very cold. It was negative degrees outside. I als discovered our window was not locked. Once I engaged the lock it helped but it was still cold. The downside of the park view was the street noises. Honking by angry drivers and the back up sounds of the dump trucks and backhoes doing street snow cleanup following a huge storm. Bring ear plugs and a fan for white noise. Besides that Zee had a great time in this Grande Dame of hotels

My husband and I were set to get married at a different venue in January of 2026 with a plan to have a luncheon afterwards at the Oak Long Bar in the hotel. Our venue ended up cancelling due to a blizzard. We called the Fairmont Copley Plaza when this happened - and our event manager Denise Haddad stepped up to help us out. She upgraded our hotel room to a suite overlooking the library to have our ceremony in and allowed us to take photos throughout the hotel. The room itself was spotless, beautifully decorated and perfect for hosting a ceremony. From start to finish, Denise and the staff at the Fairmont Copley Plaza were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to help us out. The hospitality this hotel provided was one of the best we have ever experienced. We cannot wait to book a room with them in the future - probably for our anniversary :)

Lobby is beautiful and staff friendly, kind and helpful. The room itself is average.I had to call for the mini fridge I requested before check in and had to also have a cot removed that was left behind. The room was very drafty/cold despite heat in. Freezing air was coming through the windows/ bathroom window. Right before we left the bathroom door knob fell off where I had to rescue my husband. Restaurant prices here are astronomical. Too high, even for this level/ type of hotel.

We've stayed at the Fairmont Boston many times over the years, and our December 2025 visit reminded us exactly why we keep coming back. This hotel consistently delivers warmth, comfort, and a sense of classic Boston charm that's hard to match. The holiday season at the Fairmont is magical. The moment we walked into the lobby, we were greeted with festive touches throughout the historic space. It immediately put us in the spirit and made the hotel feel like a cozy winter retreat. One of our favorite parts of every stay is Oak Long Bar + Kitchen, and this trip was no exception. Whether it's breakfast, a cocktail, or a late-night bite, the atmosphere is inviting and the food is always excellent. The bar gets quite busy, so plan accordingly. The hotel's location in Back Bay can't be beat. You're steps from Newbury Street shopping, the Boston Public Library, Copley Square, and an easy walk to the Public Garden. The rooms can run a little small & are a bit dated, but understandable for a historic property.

I would like to raise concerns regarding both the invoicing process and the customer service experience I encountered. I noticed an additional small charge that was not included in the original invoice. Since this is a business expense, I needed clarification. Unfortunately, the operator I spoke with was unacceptable in her conduct. She was impatient with my questions and transferred me to the wrong department. When I called back and asked for her name, she refused to provide it and then hung up on me. On my third attempt, she was rude again, but finally transferred me to the correct team, who were able to provide an updated invoice and explained that the small charge. I believe that it is the hotel’s responsibility to provide an accurate, up‑to‑date invoice. More importantly, it is also your commitment to ensure that your customer support team is trained to assist guests professionally. Experiences like the one I had with the operator, Arnella, fall far short of that expectation. Please do let me know if you have any questions or comments. Thanks Jay
