We stayed at the Lenox on a weekend getaway. Wow. Tremendous service. Beautiful hotel. Doormen, and the location was great. We had turndown service and the room was spotless. A neighborhood with lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location: Copley, Back Bay, Copley T Stop, Red Sox. Boutique hotel with friendly staff. Room was well appointed, with a side chair, which is appreciated. Quiet despite its central location. The bathroom was not too large. Some of the features are probably due for a facelift soon, but overall one of the more enjoyable hotels in Boston.

We were lucky to stay here last week for 5 nights. We were upgraded to a corner room with fireplace for our anniversary, with gifts of wine and chocolates from the staff to wish us a happy anniversary! The hotel and room were perfect, from the beautiful smelling lobby (seriously! Very welcoming!) to the room, very classy and comfortable. The bed was huge! The pillows were very good quality, perfect for a nights restful sleep after pounding the pavement all day. The staff are what makes the difference between a good hotel and a great hotel and they certainly know that at the Lenox! Every single person we encountered was friendly, courteous and helpful. From the ‘welcome back’ each evening to the ‘have a wonderful day’ as you leave each morning. Hot drinks in the morning to go were a nice touch, and ice cold fresh apple juice in the evenings great (particularly as helps my gall bladder pain!) The location could not be more perfect. A minute from everything; T stop, bus stop to/from airport, prudential building, tons of nice restaurants, Boston library, trinity church, Copley Square etc, all on your door step. Why stay anywhere else?! Also helped being next to the prudential building as we used it as a beacon for walks Home so we didn’t get too lost! We will be returning!

This is a nice boutique hotel (they praised themselves as "the first boutique hotel") near downtown Boston (Back Bay to be more precise). The decoration is really pretty with some undertones of a historic past. (even the mirrors in the elevators have the feeling of old glass.) The staff are EXTREMELY helpful. Perhaps the most helpful staff I have ever encountered. The rooms are spacious and very clean and have most of the amenities. The closet has also an umbrella for the guests to use. The only thing that is missing is a in-room coffee maker that many of the other hotels have today. However, in the lobby they serve free coffee. The hotel is nicely located. Metro station nearby. Lots of restaurants around in the 10 min walking distance radius. Little Italy (15 min walk) has even more nice restaurants. Boston Commons, a very pretty park, is also 15 min walk. The 11th floor has hypoallergenic rooms. Also, the rooms facing the front street (which is in the finish line of the Marathon) can be noisy at night. The Prudential Tower is just on the back of this hotel and the Top of the Hub on its top offers spectacular views of the city.

What a fun surprise! Fantastic location, large rooms, and right on top of some delectable chocolate (Lindt), which they pillow top each afternoon after room service. The decor is very nostalgic of a 1920s-era with a modern touch, boutique glass, and ornate crown molding.
