My wife and i had booked this hotel as a final night of luxury on our anniversary before leaving the usa. After a stressful 10 hour drive from new york we arrived at the valet stand and the porters helped my wife out of the car and took care of all the luggage without me asking we were then shown into the lobby (which is beautiful!) Upon checking in the young man at the reception desk wished us a happy anniversary and asked how our trip was (a friendly welcoming touch) he also advised us as a gift from the hotel they had upgraded us to a premium suite with a working fireplace! We were so happy and surprised that not only had they made us feel special but we had also received a turndown service and a bottle of champagne a lovely surprise that made us feel at home. I cant speak highly enough of the staff the rooms the bar every part of this hotel is designed to make you feel like the staff cater just for you.

From the minute we arrived at the entrance our stay at The Lenox was great. I booked a corner Executive Room with fireplace- but it wasn't cold enough to have the fire lit while we were there. Room was big, sofa and easy chair, large TV, empty fridge for our use. Ample plug points and storage space. The bathroom was quaint, floor sloped a bit but that added to the homeliness of the hotel. Central location and the suggestions given for restaurants during our stay were all good. Great staff, very helpful throughout our stay. Special mention to Casey on the Concierge desk- thank you for your patience and assistance; Conor, our driver- what a great guy! Thank you, Lenox Hotel. I have stayed at several hotels in the Boston area and thus rates highly as one I would definitely book again. I recommend this hotel.

This is a lovely hotel, smaller in size but just as elegant as the large old grand dame kind. When I arrived (early December), the lobby was all done up for Christmas full bore. Located right next to the main Public Library and big and small stores on Boyleston. Many places to eat or get a coffee nearby (including an Eataly a few blocks away). I had dinner at the hotel's own City Table (excellent!) with friends. The staff was great about honoring my request for a quiet, high-floor room, away from elevator. The room was nice, the wireless worked well. There's no coffee maker in room (they set out coffee in the mornings by elevators in lobby), but there is a refrigerator and a small safe. Bathroom was quite nice. The windows actually open, which I appreciated. The little fitness center is pleasant, and the small business center (two computers & printers, stand up counter) did fine for what I needed. Every staff member I spoke with was warm and attentive. Bedding was great, nice desk area in room. Altogether an excellent experience.

When you step through the doors of this classic boutique hotel it is almost like you step back in time. The lobby is very dark. The room was lovely, fairly spacious with all mod cons you would expect, complimentary wi-fi, satellite tv excellent toiletries, mini bar, very comfortable bed, although the pillows were too high and too hard. The service was at all time excellent, the staff are all friendly and polite. The location is perfect the hotel is situated in the centre of the historic Back Bay area within walking distance of the shopping centres, great restaurants etc.

I just spent another couple of truly fantastic days at the Lenox. From the charming and genuinely friendly staff, to the sumptuous rooms and toasty warm fireplaces it's always a pleasure to visit and stay. Nestled right downtown and just steps from Newbury Street...what's not to like! 😄
