Recently spent two nights here and was thrilled at the prospect of being able to stay at the legendary Lenix. The experience was gracious at every turn. The room was cozy, quiet, elegant. Everything about this property was classy!

A well maintained, unique, beautiful historical hotel. We stayed in a double queen room. Good size for my wife and two kids. I wish there was more storage in the bathroom for toiletries. Maybe on next room update a shelf can be added. Not a major issue considering the Lenox is a boutique hotel over 100 years old. Everyone was very accommodating and kind from the doorman to the front desk to the concierge. We received good advice on restaurants and more. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the Back Bay. It is close to Newbury Street, Boston Public Garden, Boston Common, the start of the Freedom Trail, Boston Public Library, Fenway Park, the T, and more. This was probably the best hotel we have stayed at as a family.

Went with our daughters (3&7) and could not have stayed at a better hotel. The staff was extremely accommodating and made us feel welcome. Had a double queen room and was more than enough space for the 4 of us. Location is perfect to restaurants, parks, and sites. If it happens to rain while you are there, public library is across the street and well worth a visit. Will stay again and highly recommend staying at the Lenox Hotel.

This is a classic older property, very well maintained, with superior service. We stayed for 3 nights, the room was good size if not huge, bath is smaller but adequate with decent counter space. The location is excellent directly across the street from the Boston Library, one block from Copley Square and 3 (long) blocks from the North Boston Amtrak Station. Yes it is a bit pricey, but I felt that the charge was in line with what we received so no fuss. The main restaurant is a bit noisy in the evenings, the "Irish Pub" which serves very good light meals is even noisier, but such is life. We did not use the main bar.
