The Lenox Hotel

Lovely people work there. Horrible noise at 6am. Several calls to front desk. “Please stop”. Sorry sir, “No can do.” Huh? “Construction” etc. Then, why put me in a room with deafening noise at 6am? Uhhh Anyway, a horrible experience. Don’t stay on 11th floor. You will not sleep.

This hotel was everything you’d expect from a gorgeous, storied Boston hotel. Dark woods, luxe beds and bedding and impeccable service. Convenience abounds, in both location as well as on-site restaurants. A deep closet for clothes, luggage and a mini fridge was a lovely find, and the hotel staff was exactly as it should be - attentive, genuine and friendly. For an old hotel, they’ve done a fantastic job keeping it both updated and classic at the same time. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is charming in an old fashioned way. Door staff are really friendly and helpful. Reception staff not so much. All bar one was offhand and dismissive during a 7 day stay. Room was ok space wise but only small hanging space. No drawers or anywhere to unpack. Fierce AC which we could not alter. No tea/coffee in room but free coffee in lobby daily. The laundry list our washing. No apology from staff just said they’d post it on to us when it turned up. When they looked properly it was found.

The hotel is in a great position near Newbury street. The room was large and well appointed and had plenty of room for my family of 5. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. I didn’t use the hotel facilities but the staff were polite and helpful on the few occasions we interacted with them.

Great experience love the Lenox! Service men are great, attentive, and polite. Beautiful charming building in the heart of Boston!
