The Seaport Hotel
I have had to think twice about this review, the hotel is a very nice hotel in a beautiful area of Boston. On arrival everyone seems to handle there own luggage, so if you have a number of cases you find a bell persons trolley and manoeuvre your cases, both on arrival and departure. I am sure that if help was required the hotel would accommodate. When we arrived we had booked a suite and had asked for a harbour view, we were told that we did not have the view requested and if we required, it would cost xx, which we paid. On leaving we requested a late checkout and was told xx cost for a later (we are talking 1 to 2 hours) checkout, which we declined. The hotel is lovely but there is no friendliness from the staff, just efficiency. The room was really lovely, finishings, furniture, cleanliness, views etc. The area of Seaport is beautiful with many very good local restaurants and easy to walk to sightseeing areas. I would definitely return to the Seaport area but would I stay at the Seaport Hotel, as stated it is a really nice hotel but for me it lacked the friendly touch which I consider to be extremely important. Therefore no, I would probably look elsewhere but that is only my opinion.

Bad service
Booked for our wedding anniversary. Was told at check in that we had a $35.00 dining credit from Expedia and we should use it for dinner or breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Normally we would not eat breakfast at the hotel but decided we would take advantage of the credit! Breakfast was $75.00 and nothing spectacular but not made with the discount. Unfortunately I noticed there was no discount on my bill. After a few calls to the hotel I finally spoke to someone who said unfortunately the person at the front desk was wrong about the discount and they were sorry. Was initially told there was nothing they could do then finally said they could only offer a $15 discount. Very disappointing, and in my opinion very bad customer service. We also waited 40 minutes for our car which made us late for an appointment.

Best Hotel
I recently stayed at this hotel with my husband and four year old daughter. 10/10 recommend. We stayed in a suite, which was surprisingly very spacious and comfortable. It was also very reasonably priced. Both of the restaurants on the property were also excellent, and both takeout and room service were very quick. The breakfast buffet at Aura was delicious and a great deal. The staff were all very friendly. Parking was easy. The pool was great. We spent a lot of time there. My daughter never wanted to get out. The best part is the location. The Seaport is awesome. We were able to just walk everywhere we wanted to go. There are tons of restaurants and activities to do, including the Aquarium and Children’s Museum. I loved that I didn’t feel like I was in the downtown of a big city. The Seaport is very pretty and clean. It also felt very safe. We stayed at a five star hotel in Boston last February, which was very nice (and very expensive), but the Seaport Hotel was definitely better. We plan on returning in a couple of months when the weather gets warmer. I truly cannot think of a single bad thing to say.

Best stay ever!!
We had such a fantastic stay! The hotel is incredibly family-friendly, and the staff were so warm, welcoming, and amazing with the kids. They really made the whole experience special. The pool was awesome — clean, fun, and perfect for families. The kids especially loved the cotton candy and popcorn in the lobby, which was such a fun surprise! The food was also great, and the parking was right under the building and super reasonable, which made everything even more convenient. We can’t wait to come back!

Clean, Comfortable, Convenient
There are so many hotels in Seaport, so glad we found the Seaport Hotel. Convenient location and friendly staff. The rooms were immaculate with comfortable beds and thoughtful details in the rooms. Appreciated that there were 2 chairs by the window, plenty of storage, an in room coffee machine, night lighting in the bathroom and a large, modern shower. Although a destination fee is charged, it is offset by one free experience. We used the fitness facilities which included a pool, gym, and large dressing area. Perfect to check out, and use the spa before our flight. Will definitely stay again.
