Great Hotel right behind Newbury Street Good service and two very good restaurants (loved the one for breakfast but the terrace is also nice)

As a regular visitor to Boston, The Newbury is the only Hotel we stay at. From arrival to departure, our stay only gets better and better every single time. From the Doorman Charlie and others, Concierge David and Kathay, the Reservations Desk, and Front Desk, let's not forget the bellmen, Usan, and so many others. They always ensure that our stay is comfortable. We have received exceptional service and look forward to returning.

The good: -decent-sized room with plenty of light and nice view -staff were friendly and helpful -excellent location at the top of Newbury Street. Easy access to shopping. We drove to the hotel and the location also made it easy to access via car. Could be better: -room was a bit loud (there was a wedding at the hotel that night); glad we had our white noise machine. -room was bright but not because of outside light. The smoke alarm kept flashing routine lights every few minutes. Wish we had sleep masks for our eyes. -roof top restaurant was just ok. Friends lauded the brunch but we found it to be solid but not amazing. I’d recommend it and would stay again but would bring my eye mask and white noise machine for sure.

Nothing I say here will truly do justice to the exceptional service at this hotel. The Newbury is undoubtedly the best choice for accommodation in Boston. The entire team is phenomenal, going above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. The rooms are wonderful, clean and perfect. Excellent location. If you're in Boston, don't miss out. My husband & I stayed at the Newbury for the 2024 Boston Marathon. The room was very quiet & nice with a comfortable bed. The customer service is outstanding. All of the marathon festivities are walkable, including bus pick-up race-day morning. The only downside was there’s no bathtub. Not a star-reducer, but just know that if you’re looking for one, most rooms don’t have one. I was dying to take a post-race bath & had to settle for a shower instead.
