XV Beacon Hotel reigns supreme over Boston’s historic Beacon Hill in its turn-of-the-century Beaux Arts building. Modern furnishings are offset by a grand marble staircase, rich mahogany paneling and original caged-glass elevator, reflecting the past while embracing the present. The 63-room luxury boutique hotel, recognized for peerless personal service, sophisticated interiors and luxurious custom amenities, distinguishes itself with its sense of heritage, peacefulness of home and utmost discretion.

The rooms are very comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. Staff are, to a person, attentive. Special recognition is owed to the overnight clerk and the Lexus drivers. Housekeepers are very organised and proficient. Concierges have good knowledge bases and memories.

Wonderful overnight stay. We needed a mini-vacation and XV Beacon did a wonderful job from the moment we pulled up at valet until we departed. Prompt room service, a Lexus transport to/from dinner, and nice greetings throughout our stay. We did not want to leave! I had stayed here 20 years ago when it first opened and they have not missed a step at all.

This gem is located steps from the Boston Common and from the moment we arrived we were treated to service above and beyond our expectations. Doormen await to assist with our luggage and car park. The front desk employees could not have been nicer in the most genuine way, authentic and not forced. Our room was beautiful as always and as clean and comfortable as you would expect from a 5 star hotel. From the Italian tiled rain forrest shower to the espresso machine and a lovely warm bed, we couldn't have asked for more! An exceptional dining room awaited us and though a busy Friday night the attention to detailed service was equaled by outstanding food at the restaurant Mooo, appetizers, entrees, and desert were over the top. An elegant dining room that was clearly popular, this was the crowning jewel of our stay. We can't recommend XV Beacon any more for the discerning visitors to the greatest city in the world!

To keep it brief we had high expectations of this highly rated hotel. For some reason upon arrival, the valet was not very kind. It didn’t make sense. But once we came inside and met the rest of the staff at all, began to take form. we immediately called our booking agent and canceled the room due to the lack of greetings, or any type of welcoming gesture by the hotel staff. There are so many great hotels nearby. Look elsewhere

Solid hotel in a great location to see the city of Boston. This was a quieter hotel with the boutique vibe for sure. The room was very nice and clean and plenty of room for a few nights. As this this is a moderately priced hotel i think it delivers quite well for the cost. I will say that i did not love the food from room service, but that could just be personal preference. Would i stay again? Probably not, but that is just because I don’t think there was anything exceptional about the place.
