One night stay for wife's birthday. Ordered champagne & strawberries to be in room upon arrival for surprise; didn't deliver. It's a $250/nt hotel that somehow gets $500/nt. Rooms very average. Would not stay there again and would not recommend to others Way overated!

Went on a family trip for my 50th birthday. This hotel was amazing . We stayed 3 nights in a queen suite. We had a huge outdoor balcony. The service from check in to housekeeping was the best. Ritz service at a boutique style hotel. Restaurant was also great. We enjoyed breakfast and late night deserts. Would only stay at this hotel in Boulder.

I decided I needed to do something nice for myself so I scheduled a stay at the St. Julien. I scheduled a massage and facial at their spa and then stayed overnight. The massage and facial were amazing! They gave me a complementary glass of Prosecco which was a perfect end to my spa day! Next I checked into the hotel. Laurie at the front desk was very sweet gave me an upgrade to a room with a balcony and a beautiful view of the Flatirons! Once I checked in I went down to the beautiful lobby to have another glass of Prosecco and Bayan at the bar was great! I enjoyed my drink and people watching and finally ordered a Cobb salad to take up to my room. The salad was yummy, my room was beautiful, the bed was so comfy and it was such a treat. I will definitely stay at the St. Julien again! If you're looking for a terrific spa, wonderful service and a beautiful environment in Boulder, this is the place to go!

I would give this a 4.5 if available We stayed for 4 days with family event. The location is unbeatable if you wish to stay in Boulder. You can stroll to Pearl St mall to have a great meal, watch street performers, get some coffee. The parking is great value ($20) and so easy to use. The valets are there from 6 am to very late. We let them know the day we were leaving at 5am for an early hike and they left my car out for me. The one time I came in after they had left (late night in Denver) they let me leave my car in the front. They brought my car out quickly. This is the easiest parking situation I have had in some time at a hotel. The room was clean. There is a nice turn down with cookies that the children loved. Our room did not have a great view but I believe some do. The wifi was fast and free. No fridge except the minibar. The bathroom had shower and bath and was new, plenty of space and nice spa soaps/accoutrements. As a beware, the beds are mounted on wood platforms that are easy to bump your shins into. When the tv was not working, the work guys came within minutes. There is nice outdoor area. The indoor pool area was clean and visually appealing. No slide etc for kids. There was a nice serving person who came by to offer food or drinks. We did not get room service. The food is ok at the restaurant but there are a lot of offerings a block away at Pearl St.
