Heard good things about SJ. We come for a weekend to find the outside courtyard off limits because of a wedding and the lobby and bar over ran by wedding guests. This facility is too small to accommodate guests and wedding parties. Services is nonexistent unless you are with the wedding. Very disappointed

This is a beautiful hotel right near downtown you can easily walk to most things you would like to see around Pearl St. Beds were great, rooms spacious, and the views of the mountains were lovely. I really loved the afternoon tea and recommend this to anyone staying here or even visiting Boulder. The outdoor area was well designed too, and I was able to get some work done while enjoying the views out in the courtyard. I would definitely go back.

So enjoyed the stay that I extended several times. A well built hotel with nice rooms, very comfortable beds, good bath tubs and showers in the room, nice grounds, good kitchen and bar, a well sized pool (not outside though) and hot tub. The spa is quite enjoyable, and includes a good sauna and steam room. The limited number of showers and lockers in the spa is unfortunate (lockers are only available if you book a spa service), but they have skilled therapists. Eric was extremely good; David was fantastic as well, and I would have had more treatments if time allowed. The service and staff are attentive and friendly; they keep you stocked with water (helps at the altitude), offer free bikes for use about town, and often have live entertainment on site. Overall, a very nice higher end place from which to enjoy what the town has to offer, with a central location that is hard to beat.

I stayed here while on business and have no complaints. The service was outstanding, the food and drinks fantastic and the general ambiance was peaceful. Everything I needed was available for the business side of things and I was just as pleased with the pleasure side. Pearl street was close and the view of the mountains, so beautiful.

I cannot understand the previous reviewer saying it was cramped. This was by far one of the nicest places I have stayed, and I spend about half of the year in a hotel. The staff were all so attentive, every one I passed. There was nothing missing. I found the rooms to be graciously appointed and that bed was so comfortable. There is a closet in the entertainment center. Amenities are plentiful, even including bath salts and a loofah for the bath. The location is perfect! Walked everywhere in town. Excellent restaurants in the area The bar was awesome. Bayan was an excellent bartender where you can tell he is a true mixologist with unique drink creations.. I cannot wait to return for a personal trip.
