Loved our brief stay at the St. Julien. Such a great location close to Pearl Street, shopping, dining, etc. Rooms are lovely with comfortable, four poster beds. Staff including front desk, housekeeping, and valets are very helpful and friendly. Lobby is SO fun at night with live music, dancing, and endless espresso martinis! Love the St. J!

I chose this hotel because of its reputation as one of Boulder’s nicest properties, which made what happened especially disappointing. While staying here, my son and his friend were using the spa facilities when their wallets were stolen from the cubby area. A police report was filed immediately, surveillance footage was reviewed at the stores where the credit cards were later used, and law enforcement has since identified a suspect and is actively searching for him. I understand the wallets were not placed in a locked locker, and I acknowledge that wasn’t ideal. That said, theft occurring in a hotel spa is serious regardless, and unfortunately what stood out most was not just the incident, but the response. To be clear, the hotel’s security manager was helpful, concerned, and apologetic, and handled the situation appropriately. In contrast, the assistant manager on site that evening was dismissive, showed no empathy, and offered no apology. The situation felt minimized rather than handled with professionalism. For a hotel at this level, that response was surprising and disappointing. I ultimately chose to leave early rather than remain for my final night. This review is less about the theft itself (which can happen anywhere) and more about how it was handled. A calm, empathetic response would have gone a long way.

We had a lovely stay at the St Julien when visiting relatives for Christmas in Boulder. We were there for five nights. We enjoyed our room. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The service was excellent. The housekeepers and turn down service kept our room clean and perfect. The bellman at the front door were polite, kind, and friendly. I believe they are what makes this hotel. From opening doors, to assisting with a car, to the shuttle service. They are amazing!!! The hotel is centrally located with walking distance to Pearl Street which is convenient. The bakery Massionette across the street is perfect for breakfast. We did not eat at the hotel. There was entertainment often in the lobby. It was too loud and crowded for us but looked fun. The pool, gym (small but good), spa were great too. A perfect place to stay over Christmas. All we needed was snow!

I had my yearly 'staycation' girls holiday night at the St. Julien. It was a perfect as always! The hotel looks beautiful for the holidays and from the minute we arrived we had the best time! Catherine at the concierge desk is always so wonderful as is the front desk staff. Our room was perfect and had great views of the flatirons and the Boulder Star. The lobby was so fun with the jazz holiday music and we had a delicious brunch on Sunday at Jill's. It's a tradition that the St. Julien always makes special! Look forward to the next one!
