Reviews for St Julien Hotel & Spa

Very good upscale hotel about a mile from campus

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I stayed here a night taking my son to move into UC Boulder's campus. The rooms are decent and the bathrooms are nice featuring desirable shower products you can still take home. I had a mountain view room on the top floor; it's a nice view but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. The St. Julien suites have to be booked directly with the hotel; it is not bookable through the hotel's website. There is a pool open till 10 and a steam room open till 7:30. No bathing suit spinner though. The gym is the standard fitness center setup; bring your own foam roller. Dinner at the restaurant was good; i liked the margherita pizza. Breakfast was decent; there is no smoked salmon on the menu. This property is a mile from campus but it is upscale. Other hotels such as the Marriott are a mile away from campus in the opposite direction. If I wanted to be more within walking distance to campus, I would look at the Moxy or Limelight. The Limelight has suites at a comparable price point with a real gym and offers guest passes to the campus recreation center that is a monster of a gym with a pool.

Spectacular weekend in Boulder.

We stayed at the St. Julian for a wedding and everything was perfect. The location is amazing - close to everything in downtown Boulder and they managed an outdoor wedding in crazy Colorado weather perfectly. Service from the valet to the front desk to the concierge was excellent. And the espresso martinis. . . enough said.

Stay here while in Boulder

My recent stay at the St. Julien hotel was excellent. In addition to being well located, the property is beautiful, the staff very accommodating. Lobby bar was lively, but not rowdy or noisy. The live music was fun. And they were thoughtful enough to put up a big screen for the World Cup. If you’re coming up from the Denver Airport, the RTD bus leaves you a short walk away.

Luxury at the st. Julien in Boulder!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We absolutely love the st. Julien!!! Every three months we drive from our home in Denver for a special getaway for two days to the st Julien in Boulder! My daughter and 8 year old granddaughter have the best time in this elegant hotel, a block off Pearl street where we could not be more pampered! Everyone who works at the hotel is wonderful- friendly, accommodating and welcoming! My granddaughter loves the salt water indoor pool and the hot tub is great too! Highly recommended!
