I was lucky enough to be given a spa day at St Juliens for my birthday this year. The entire experience, from driving up all the way to leaving, was worth five stars. The valet was quick and courteous, even pointing us to the spa. Everyone we passed greeted us with a smile, and when we arrived at the spa, the front desk staff quickly stopped their conversation to greet us and give us a warm welcome. We were escorted back to the spa quickly and given a tour, shown where everything was, and told where we could wait for our appointment. We were asked if we planned on using the pool, but sadly we did not bring swim suits. Just know that is an option if you spend a day at the spa, they let you use their pool, hot tub, and sauna, and steam room. Once we had changed, we took advantage of both the steam room and the sauna to relax before our massages. Complimentary water, tea, and snacks were readily available while we waited. The lounge where you await your appointment is a technology free zone, so lock up your cell phone in the lockers provided. Laurien greeted me as my massage therapist. She was friendly, warm, and I felt immediately at ease in her presence. She guided me back to her room, asked if I'd ever had a deep tissue massage, then asked if I had any problem areas. She listened as I explained my issues and promised to resolve them. Her touch was gentle at first then she deepened it up, checking in with me a few times through the massage to see if the pressure was what I expected. The entire spa even wished me happy birthday with every contact I had with someone who worked there, which made it more special for me.

We came for a college tour and wanted to stay on for a vacation! The property is beautiful, location at the top of Pearl is convenient, and the quality of the rooms, food and staff top notch. Would stay again and highly recommend.

This is THE hotel in Boulder and honestly worth the $$$. Perfect location and the restaurant is top notch for food and service. I've been many times and always find it a treat but do think they need some competition to really be a 5 star. The guys that park your car are awesome. Checking in with the front desk is a B at best. I never officially check out because they may have one person or two but the others on the phone. They always make me feel like they are doing me a favor. "We are the best show in town". I suggest the Boulderado hotel which is not a five star but the people are super genuine

After spending the day hiking, biking, bouldering, and just running ourselves ragged, this place was truly wonderful to return to every night! The rooms were spacious, warm, and exuded luxury. The amenities, from the robes and slippers to the mint bath products, were all of high caliber as well. And as far as location, you couldn't ask for better. It's city center, yet has fantastic hiking trails nearby. For more distant locations or if your feet are just tired, there's a bike rental station one block away. In fact, we didn't even need to rent a car. We'll definitely be back!

I had a great quick trip to Boulder, the St Julien Hotel and Spa were a wonderful home base for 2 days. My son and I enjoyed the breakfasts each morning, and I had a restorative massage with Jenn, (she was was amazing). The hotel is so well located, I didn't take the car out during our stay since we could walk everywhere. We were in town to visit the university, which was a 20 minute walk. Afterwards we walked by the river on a very pleasant walking path, then back around the scenic neighborhood near the hotel. I am really looking forward to returning soon!
