Reviews for St Julien Hotel & Spa
My husband and I traveled to Boulder for the first time a few weeks ago. The St, Julien was a perfect place to stay. The rooms are very large and the bed was super comfortable. The lobby is great and has live music at night overlooking the Flat Irons. My only suggestions are to pay the little bit more for a room with a view. I didn't think it was worth it, but our room overlooked some sort of parking lot with big trucks. I wish we had the view. Also, I asked for late check-out, and was told they could not accommodate us (which I thought was odd....as I only asked for one extra hour). But all in all, a great hotel, great concierge and the front door staff are so welcoming!! Will definitely visit again!

Rooms are beautiful. Loved the spa quality toiletries and soaking tube complete with bath salts. Nightly turn down service. All the team members are very friendly and helpful. Nice robe and sleepers. Rooms are quiet and bed is comfortable.

We were traveling around Colorado for a week and knew that we wanted to stay in Boulder, and chose the hotel based on the reviews and location. Our choice did not disappoint. When we arrived, there was live music playing in the area outside the lobby and a lively bar area where we were able to meet a few other travelers and enjoy ourselves. As we only planned to stay one night, it was a great location for us to get up in the morning, walk a block over to Pearl Street and have breakfast, and then be on our way to hike the flatiron trails nearby. The staff was very attentive and welcoming when we arrived. On check out they were even more so, making sure we had everything we needed to get started on the day. We'll definitely be back again during our next visit to Boulder.

Stayed two nights and loved Boulder. Hotel is nice, not fantastic for the prices and it is a bit tired. Sad part is we could not enjoy all the amenities they offer because a wedding was happening on Saturday and we could not have a drink on the outside patio because it was ALL for the wedding and couldn't have dinner at Jill's because it was all for the wedding. Did enjoy the massages at the spa. Luckily there are so many wonderful restaurants around the hotel you are really better off going someplace else besides the hotel for a drink or dinner! If I was ever back in Boulder I would try someplace else.

While the hotel is in a central, convenient location within this picturesque, wealthy mountain town, be aware that certain drawbacks are worth noting for the discerning traveler. Our room seemed cramped, and the closet space was minimal to say the least. The parking valets, citing a small and limited parking garage, parked our very expensive car outside (in the front, of course) where it was exposed to the vicissitudes of mountain weather--and would not accede to our request to move it inside. In other areas the front desk staff was less than helpful, exuding an attitude that said "the customer is always wrong." The hotel's physical plant and first floor facilities are fine, but without a more helpful, responsive staff it's hard to give this expensive lodging more than average marks.
