I decided I needed to do something nice for myself so I scheduled a stay at the St. Julien. I scheduled a massage and facial at their spa and then stayed overnight. The massage and facial were amazing! They gave me a complementary glass of Prosecco which was a perfect end to my spa day! Next I checked into the hotel. Laurie at the front desk was very sweet gave me an upgrade to a room with a balcony and a beautiful view of the Flatirons! Once I checked in I went down to the beautiful lobby to have another glass of Prosecco and Bayan at the bar was great! I enjoyed my drink and people watching and finally ordered a Cobb salad to take up to my room. The salad was yummy, my room was beautiful, the bed was so comfy and it was such a treat. I will definitely stay at the St. Julien again! If you're looking for a terrific spa, wonderful service and a beautiful environment in Boulder, this is the place to go!

I would give this a 4.5 if available We stayed for 4 days with family event. The location is unbeatable if you wish to stay in Boulder. You can stroll to Pearl St mall to have a great meal, watch street performers, get some coffee. The parking is great value ($20) and so easy to use. The valets are there from 6 am to very late. We let them know the day we were leaving at 5am for an early hike and they left my car out for me. The one time I came in after they had left (late night in Denver) they let me leave my car in the front. They brought my car out quickly. This is the easiest parking situation I have had in some time at a hotel. The room was clean. There is a nice turn down with cookies that the children loved. Our room did not have a great view but I believe some do. The wifi was fast and free. No fridge except the minibar. The bathroom had shower and bath and was new, plenty of space and nice spa soaps/accoutrements. As a beware, the beds are mounted on wood platforms that are easy to bump your shins into. When the tv was not working, the work guys came within minutes. There is nice outdoor area. The indoor pool area was clean and visually appealing. No slide etc for kids. There was a nice serving person who came by to offer food or drinks. We did not get room service. The food is ok at the restaurant but there are a lot of offerings a block away at Pearl St.

A beautiful, well located property. Staff is friendly, the restaurant serves good food and has good service. The hotel has bikes that are free to use. Room was clean and spacious. Overall, it was a great stay!

I liked this hotel....I wanted to be very impressed, but I was not. It was clean and comfy....but not worth the $$$ they charge. The bar off the hotel lobby was very average, and small. The outdoor area was beautiful..overlooking the Flatirons. We are going back to Boulder in 2 weeks...will be staying somewhere else..for cheaper.

We had high hopes for a nice stay at the St Julien based on reviews of the property. What we found was an overpriced suite with the appearance of the run of the mill "chain" hotel room. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING SPECIAL. In fact, the room was a bit tired looking. Also disappointing was the inability to get reservations at the spa for services like a manicure, hair blow-out., etc. We called days in advance and nothing was available however the receptionist was happy to give us names of off property places! Why stay at a spa if you need to go off property for the basics?? Dining was also a disappointment. For example, we ordered a steak dinner.. received 3 very small slices of meat about the size of a silver dollar and when we asked for a knife to cut it we never got one. Try cutting even a tiny cut of steak with a dull butter knife! Simply no attention to even the minor details of accommodating a guest. We would never stay here again I am sorry to say.
