Reviews for St Julien Hotel & Spa
This hotel used to be amazing, but those days are past. Don't waste your money here. While some of the staff are awesome friendly people the majority of staff are not. In particular the concierge was excessively rude and just awful at her job. This hotel seems more concerned with appearance over function. It's becoming dated, the bed was awful.

Stayed at the St. Julien with my 14 year old daughter on our first ever trip to Colorado from California. Between the amazing smells wafting from the spa, to the jazz ensemble playing in front of the cracking fire I cannot say enough about the tactile nature of this hotel. It reads like a novel with soft sheets boasting an insanely high thread count, the stone tiled shower that feels akin to getting back to nature, soaking tubs, plush robes, gorgeous bar downstairs & the sumptuous food scents drifting from the kitchen & dining room, all creating a warm experience you can practically touch & taste. I cannot wait to book my next trip to this hotel!
The hotel is very large. Certain rooms require a long walk off the elevator. The hotel is really first class and in a great location. They have your choice of several newspapers. I highly recommend St. Julien.
I come to Boulder every month for work and stay either at the St Julien or the Boulderado given their proximity to my office. I was lucky enough to get a corporate rate at the St Julien and have made sure to make all my stays there, from the service to the food there is simply no better place to stay in Boulder. The rooms are perfect and a bit nicer than your traditional Westin rooms, I’d probably compare them to the St Regis or Four Seasons. The hotel is often booked given its location and luxurious amenities so book often! Many thanks for Valerie Knorr for being such a gracious host to me.

One of the things we love about Boulder is the abundant open air space and dedication to an outdoor lifestyle. A big reason we originally chose St. Julien for our stays was your location within the Boulder Smoke Free area. Unfortunately, the ban does not seem to be enforced. We splurged for a balcony room this past stay (room 230), but were very disappointed to find we were not able to use it. The valet parking area seemed to be the gathering place for smokers.
