Touchstone on Lake Muskoka

My wife and I took advantage of the shoulder season discount which is any month other than July and August. Often early September is as nice as any time in August. We also went in June of this year 2025 and also received a significant discount. We were amazed at the great value. The room had a great view over Lake Muskoka, we sat on the deck near the boathouse and the sun shone in for most of the day. A quick summary of our experience: the bed was comfortable, kitchen well stocked, sitting area was large, room was very quiet, two sets of French doors looking over the lake, the food, service and value at the resort was exceptional, we went 3 times with each one week visit. The swimming pool is heated and they have a tiled hot tub. The steam room was not working which was a small disappointment but the gym was very well equipped. We will be going every year and strongly recommend it.

Tons of activities to do during the day ! Pickleball, tennis, biking and water sports. Super peaceful at night :) we had the loveliest stay and the staff is the best. Highly recommend Touchstone Resort !

Idyllic setting and oasis of calm on majestic Lake Muskoka! Wonderful expansive dock with Muskoka chairs and loungers, especially beautiful at sunset. Lovely beach with lots of activities, and great amenities ie gym, spa, infinity pool and super yummy menu and cocktails at The Touchstone Grill. Beautifully appointed and spacious suites with amazing views. The most friendly and helpful staff! Highly recommend.

Incredible stay. The Muskoka setting is stunning and serene and the Touchstone rooms and resort amenities are pristine, including several options to keep you having fun - beach, multiple pools and hot tubs, sauna, water toys, and great fishing. We have been here 20+ times over many years, and will continue to return for years to come. Congratulations on a job well done by the management and facilities team at Touchstone. Book it now. We had a blast! This is my first ever review and I’m happy to say we absolutely loved your resort! We were so pleased that we were upgraded to a three bedroom suite overlooking the beach. It was spotless and had absolutely everything we could ever need. The bbq was a big bonus! The place is five star without the attitude! They know what they are doing obviously because it was just without being packed. The kids loved the beach and the infinite pool. We rented jet skies for a day and that was amazing. The staff was super friendly and brought us extra towels and supplies within 10 minutes of asking Audrey. She was very much on the ball. A delight! The restaurant was perfect with a great wine selection. We would highly recommend this resort and have already booked for a return visit this fall! Im hooked!
