Spanning 3,500 acres of rolling hills and wooded forests, Chateau Elan reigns as North Georgia’s premier destination resort. A favorite for weekend getaways, corporate retreats, and everything in between, this sprawling property features stunning indoor and outdoor event spaces, multiple restaurants, professionally staffed golf and tennis clubs, a world-class spa, and more. From an authentic Irish pub to a Southern-style chophouse, guests of Chateau Elan will enjoy a global culinary tour guided by experienced chefs and sommeliers who share a passion for excellence. From humble beginnings, Chateau Elan Winery has emerged as one of the largest and most awarded wineries on the East Coast. We’re honored to offer more than 30 wines produced with grapes grown in our Braselton and south of Georgia vineyards, as well as grapes hand-picked and transported, whole cluster, in refrigerated trucks from California’s Lake County and Clarksburg regions. Our North Georgia winery is open daily for guided tours and tastings, as well as one-of-a-kind private events.

Excellent Resort, located in the country. Been there 3 times - twice in Summer, once near New Years for our Wedding Anniversary. Good restaurants, pubs, winery, and much variety to do, if you wish. We will be back. Harv

Not the experience we had hoped. Signed up for their NYE party during our 3 day stay. It was advertised to have a live band, gourmet hors d'oeuvres and top shelf liquor in a ball room. Upon arrival we found that event was changed to the Winery (no tables large enough for our party to eat), no live band, just a DJ with a limited selection of music, no top shelf liquor, and no hors d'oeuvers to start the evening. Also the pool and hot tubs were closed for repairs, so we were directed to go to the spa for a hot tub, which we did, and were charged $92 for the "day pass" of which we spent less than one hour in the hot tub. I would not go back.

We chose Chateau Elan for our 4th Anniversary and could not have asked for a more delightful experience. The resort is lovely but the staff truly make the experience. Stacey went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met and that we were having a memorable experience. I would recommend Chateau Elan for a special event or just a quick get away.

I had a wonderful weekend. Louis’ House of Bourbon had good drinks and a live DJ which was a fun time. We did breakfast at Versailles and Fleur de Lis. Versailles was buffet style but tasty. Fleur de Lis has a great view and intimate atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed my peppermint tea while viewing the lake. We did the wine tour and tasting which was super fun. Q is so knowledgeable and entertaining. He was definitely the highlight of the tour, well second place to that delicious Merlot (lol). We had room service for dinner because I was done after the wine tour. I would definitely return to this resort.

The outside and decorations were nice. The room itself was not worth the price the white linen was dingy and room had a weird smell. The liquor items in room shows one priced but then they changed an extra 20 dollars. I ordered fries and received the wrong order and was charged over 90 dollars for food i didn’t order. I’m vegan and they had no accommodating meal options. For the price of the stay they need to do better and be transparent about prices and gratuity.
