"All hat, no cattle" is an expression meaning that its all image and that's what this place is. They try hard but miss the small things. First, the staff was glorious. All very nice, pleasant, and helpful. It's the facilities that I'm referring to. A nice looking room with wafer-thin walls where I could hear the guy next door clicking his ink-pen. Normal level conversations in the halls thunder through the door into my room. In-Room coffee tastes awful. Shower assembled cheaply. It's a Hampton Inn, maybe less. If you don't have high expectations for a "chateau" then you'll be fine.

We stayed here St. Patrick's Day weekend as part of a Hurricane Junior Golf Event. We went to Paddy's Pub for the St. Patrick's Day Festivities and had the breakfast buffet at Versailles, as well as room service. The room is very nice. We liked that it had a mini fridge in the room. Also, the bathroom was great with the large soaking tub. The resort seems a little tired...possibly could look to be updated in the near future. Parking at the resort is sometimes difficult due to various business conferences taking place there. There is a newer hotel on property that I would recommend. The breakfast buffet was over-priced and we had the St. Patrick's Day buffet at Paddy's. They kept running out of fish. It was a Friday during Lent. This caused the line to get bogged down and not run as efficient as it could. Also, I felt as if the housekeeping was average. Found cheerios on the carpet at check-in.

We had the most amazing time on our group tour. I had been to Chateau Elan once before and didn't have nearly as much fun. Our tour guide, Megan Burks was the highlight of the trip. Knowledge and friendly I'll defintely be back.

I visited the spa with my mom & BFF. We had an amazing experience. The customer service was superb - from the check in to our server during lunch to our technicians. We each LOVED our treatments (back, neck & shoulder massage and foot massage) and each thought that our technician was the best. So, that lets you know they employ fabulous people because we had 3 great technicians randomly! The changing room and facilities were immaculate and comfortable. We also had lunch at the spa, and the service and food were both excellent. We didn't want to leave and I promise I'll be back for another visit to the spa. Next - we visited the winery. And boy did we luck out with our server and wine expert - Erin O'Flaherty was just fantastic. Knowledgeable and super friendly. She honestly made our experience! Well -the wine was superb too, but Erin's customer service was so great. I actually couldn't stay away, and brought my husband for his first visit to Chateau Elan 2 days later. We definitely sought out Erin and were lucky to have her again. Bravo Chateau Elan!
