I am sorry, this place needs an updated air conditioning system throughout and while you are at it, update the old shuttles so you do not have to step in to an oven when being transported and hot air blowing on a 95 degree day with no AC. The buffet had several stations that were empty the food that was suppose to be cold was hot, they were out of everything where the cheese, crackers ,fruit and meats were suppose to be , the food looked horrible that was in place, no crab and an ice sculpture that was dripping over the food ebcause it was so hot in there and we never saw a waiter so no one ever picked up our dirty plates or gave us refills. The lobby was soaking hot and we were sweating like crazy. The buffet area was hot and uncomfortable as well. It did not work and they need a new set up, on top of that the place is so old, it needs updating in certain areas. When I went in the desert room I was turned off because it was so hot in there and kids were running around unsupervised making smores over hot little fires..I am done, we were finished off. I called to elt the General Manager know since he was not there and no one ever called me back..

My wife and I, along with another couple, spent four fantastic days at Chateau Elan. The staff is extremely attentive and very accommodating. We played golf at their two golf courses and both courses are in very good condition. They also have a walking par 3 course if you want to tune up your short game. The selection of wines is varied and they have a very nice wine tasting room. We all enjoyed selecting the wines and comparing the ones we we enjoyed. And, of course, bought multiple bottles to share when we got back home. The restaurants offer a wide selection and we especially enjoyed the Irish Pub located near our hotel. It has a first rate spa, as well. If you enjoy, golf, wine and a relaxing atmosphere, this is the place to come to!

This place is amazing. Golf is incredible if you’re a golfer. The winery is wonderful and the Spa is to die for. The food in the restaurant is delicious. I would return every year if I could. Can’t wait to go back. Very Romantic

Stayed a week on a conference so really got to know the place. Staff great, helpful and eager to please. Rooms are pretty average for this price point - the walls are paper thin! You can hear your neighbour turning over in bed. Clean though! This is a huge modern hotel built in a “French” style but there really is very little atmosphere - it’s clean. I wonder what their gas bills are for all the fires blazing in the hot spring evening around the empty pool? This seems a huge waste to me. Food - I only eat plants and they had a go. I had to eat the same stuffed egg plant two nights running and then a roasted cauliflower “steak” also over cooked charred sprouts. My meaty friends thought the food was good, not exceptional, I was pretty disappointed - also no choice in the restaurants unless you go off menu. Dessert offered once, a chocolate brownie pud that went down well. I know plant based diet is a growing trend but actually you don’t need to call something vegan for it to be just tasty food - don’t put cheese on or in a veggie dish and it’s vegan. I think it’s a responsibility for leading hotels like this one to offer guests food for them that matches the experience of other guests. 20 full vegan restaurants to choose from now in downtown Atlanta! Overall - a good conference venue with good facilities, a bit quiet for me lacking in atmosphere, good staff, poorly built noisy rooms, food lacking imagination - so it’s an average score. Ps - please service the bikes.
