In the afternoon take a relaxing canoe trip on the branches of the Danube, or head out for a thrilling whitewater rafting safari starting in nearby Cunovo. Play an evening round at the Golf and Country Club Bratislava, with fabulous mountain vistas from the Park and Black River courses, before returning to the hotel for an elegant evening. This was the second to the last hotel we stayed in during our 3 weeks drive through 7 Balkan countries. It was one of the nicest, as well. It is located in a classic art nouveau building, surrounded by similar buildings, and an easy 5 minute walk from old town. There are about 6 off-street parking spots next to the hotel, which made it easy for our private driver/guide to drop us off and pick us up. This should also work for any guests who are self-driving, but I do not know if there is an extra charge for overnight parking. The room was large, the bathroom very large and luxurious. However, the bathtub/shower height is quite high, so it might be a challenge for guests with balance or flexibility issues. Also - no security mat for the tub, so I used a small towel - worked fine. Our room had a separate living room and was like a small apartment. This was also one of the few hotels in the Balkans that had a hot water kettle for tea and coffee in the hotel room. The breakfast was really great, and upon request, you may have your eggs specially prepared for you. Across the street is a very casual "university student ambiance" style craft beer and burger place called the Unity Street beer/cafe/burger which we went to twice, just to get away from having to fight the tourists in old town for dinner. The hotel itself has a very nice upstairs cafe and downstairs, fine dining, which we did not try. We would definitely stay here again if we are in this area of Europe again

We booked this hotel for a long weekend break in Bratislava. It was a smart, well-appointed hotel (soon to change its name) close to the Old Town, the Danube and local transport links. Staff was efficient and mostly spoke good English. We had upgraded to a better room and it was very good, including a kitchenette and dining area, lounge, giant and very-comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom. (An anti-slip mat for the shower would have been helpful.) Wifi was included free. Breakfast was served in a refurbished cellar and was very high quality with plenty to choose from the buffet plus items cooked to order.

Hotel room was large and clean with tea and coffee facilities . Bathroom had hair drier and toiletries, a large bath with shower I found this a bit difficult to get out and in as I'm only 5ft. Breakfast was fantastic a separate menu that you can order from as well as the buffet. Very central hotel preferred the older part of Bratislava lots of quaint side streets with lovely shops and restaurants . There is a large terrace where you can have a drink and has ashtrays if you smoke, but be careful when entering as it has a large step to enter. Overall good location and lovely hotel.

This place will surely cost 300 Euro soon. Great value, located near the old part of town and excellent service. My only regret is that I didn't spend more of the trip here and less in other cities. Impressed with Bratislava as well.

We spent two nights in this delightful boutique hotel within walking distance to the centre of the Old Town. An enormous room, very quiet, great air-conditioning, a wonderful bathroom and free Wi-Fi. Good breakfast and excellent service from the hotel staff too. Highly recommended and will return for day trips to Vienna.
