Very much enjoyed our one night stay and allocated room on Level 15 was nicely furnished, and clean/comfortable with river views. Plenty of space and bathroom was also spacious with a bath and shower. Adequate supply of toiletries and towels were of good quality, and sleep comfort good. There was some confusion with package pricing when dinner buffet was provided in lieu of a platter for 2, but matter was resolved quickly after a query was raised when invoice received after self check out. Provided parking off site was in close proximity but on a Saturday it was difficult to find an available space. All staff were friendly and helpful and we had a very enjoyable buffet dinner. Special mention and praise to the musician who keep us entertained during dinner with a good variety of songs and melodies. Restaurant staff were very efficient in removing plates and dishes etc and all in all our accommodation and dining experiences were memorable,

The room was truly majestic. Our view was of the river and the view at night was ridiculously good. The bed was so comfortable. Situated right in business district was a great location. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were so helpful with advice.

Booked to stay at the Stamford Plaza Brisbane for one night over Easter Weekend. Booking was for two adults and one child (with a separate booking made for a further two adults and one child). Checked into our room fine after exploring Brisbane but when we went up to our room, there was no additional roll out bed for our child (which there had been provided in the other booked room). I popped down to reception to request the rollaway bed (at no rush as we were going to be heading out to dinner regardless) but got told that it would be at an additional cost of $60. I questioned this as we booked for 3 people and there was nothing on the booking that explained there would be an additional cost - nor was there an option pay this additional cost upon booking. I was told by reception that if I had booked for 3 adults (and not two adults and one child), then this additional cost would have been included in the booking. I disputed this and even tested the theory on the website (which disproved it) but the receptionist would not budge, nor contact the manager to resolve - basically just telling me “that’s the way it is”. We booked directly on the hotel website. After finding out that the other booking got the additional rollaway bed at no extra charge, I contacted the hotel manager via email but have had no response. I would not recommend booking this hotel and we will not be returning. There are plenty of other great options in Brisbane - so take your money elsewhere!

I was really looking forward to staying at the Stamford Plaza! I don’t know if I chose the wrong day to stay but not everything seemed to meet the 5* standard! On arrival the hotel is under construction! I didn’t mind this at all, on checkin unfortunately the smiles were not on the face of the lady that checked me in! Fair enough she is having a bad day! Was looking forward to an amaretto sour in the Pav Bar… alas they had no amaretto! Ok… well this isnt what I expected! Once in the room, although it was a lovely room overlooking the river, the aircon did not work and unfortunately the bed mattress had springs popping up so I had to find another bed cover to sleep on so I could get comfortable. So I know I’ve picked up negatives to this point but the positive - the pool area was great! Pool nice and warm and the food and drink ordered around the pool was amazing! The lobby is just exquisite with a very classic old style feel and the housekeeping service was very prompt. Great location - looking forward to seeing the outcome of the renovations!

The Seafood Buffet at LaBoca Argentinian Restaurant exceeded expectations with its vibrant atmosphere and great selection of seafood.
