Reviews for McCarren Hotel & Pool
James (in house reservations) and Martin were instrumental to our fantastic experience on our short term stay. The pool is a must-do in the summer. Excellent and friendly customer service compared to other experiences with hotel in surrounding area.
I live in Williamsburg & needed a place to stay with my 2yr old during some home repairs. The staff at McCarren Hotel was so very friendly & accommodating for my long stay & they took such good care of us.

Service was fantastic! Specifically thank you Martin, James and Sonni for being so informative and personable. The McCarren was perfectly located and full of well laid out amenities. I will definitely be returning soon.

Answer: Not according to the price point, but by all other accounts, it should be. This may have been the smallest room I've ever stayed in. There was dim, minimal lighting. Bathroom amenities were not replenished. The redeeming qualities that are supposed to explain the rate I guess are the hotel pool and rooftop bar. These were nice, but we didn't try the pool because it was always completely packed.

Highly recommend to feel the oasis while still in the metropolis. We came from Jersey and felt like went for a night to Miami. Updated, clean, friendly, not so hipsterish but can be if you're into that. Rooftop bar with manhattan skyline. Safe neighborhood. No dinner option at the hotel and parking is a little touch and go but overall a 9/10! Talk to the hotel to park, DONT PARK NEXT DOOR. The room was clean. The soundproofing is real. The bathroom was super clean. Linens at the pool and brunch were clean. Highly recommended and we will be back.
