Recently spent 3 nights at Hotel Amigo over the Christmas holiday period. The hotel is very elegant, our room was spacious and very well appointed, the location is fantastic and could hardly be more convenient for Grand Place. Best of all, the staff were all absolutely fantastic - so friendly and helpful. The service was first rate.

Very friendly excellent service. Ruff because of location right next to grand place. But could not recommend higher excellent place. Plus we had an impromptu meeting with people and friends off the street and had drink and lunch which turned into dinner. Staff was so nice

Hotel Amigo is a beautiful hotel, located perfectly for Grand Place and other Brussels highlights. Service was impeccable from check in, right through to leaving. Staff very warm and friendly, which always felt genuine and sincere. Room (overlooking the street) was wonderful, with a super comfy bed, and possibly the most powerful hotel shower ever, stealing the crown from another hotel in Copenhagen! Room was quiet even late evening/night and spotlessly clean. Evening turndown service was super thoughtful. Bar Magritte is awesome, with the most amazing cocktails. Great live music, and just a super vibe. Bocconi restaurant looks fabulous, as was the service, but the food was just 'nice' and we were a little disappointed. There was nothing particularly wrong, it just didn't live up to expectations, especially considering the cost. Thanks to all of your staff for creating a memorable stay!

Wonderful staff and hotel. Benois was so informative and helpful. We also upgraded to a larger sweet with a view of the main square and light show… so glad we did. Excellent location and a lovely bar. Everyone was so helpful and made our departure seamless.

We chose Brussels this year for our Christmas break and after reading countless reviews of various hotels, it was clear where we wanted to stay. The hotel is just amazing, the warmest welcome you could want and location wise, it is right in the heart of the city. Just minutes away from the square and the Christmas markets beyond. We were checked in and shown to our rooms, and after a quick freshen up, we headed out. The doormen were so friendly and helpful, we asked them to point us in the right direction, and the guy that showed us to our rooms (forgive me, I can’t remember everyone’s name) walked us out to show us where to go. The hotel is pristine, there is evident pride in how it looks and presents itself and the staff are genuinely the friendliest people you would want to meet. The rooms are clean and a decent size, with a nice sized bathroom. We opted for basic rooms as we knew we’d be out and about most of the day, but honestly we were not disappointed in any way, very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was good, menu for your cooked breakfast, and a selection of pastries, bread, cold cuts, fruit and more, and of course, local chocolate! Coffees, teas, juices and more all on tap for you, all served with a smile. There is a restaurant onsite, but unfortunately we didn’t visit this, as we were filling up on goodies at the Christmas markets during the day. At night, there is a very nice bar, plenty of choices for drinks and snacks, to finish off your day of exploring the city. All in all, an excellent short visit and when we return to Brussels, we will most certainly be staying at the stunning Hotel Amigo. Highly recommended, 5*
