We went to Brussels to explore the city and its' art & culture, Amigo was the perfect base for this, the location could not be more central next to the main square. The hotel is beautiful and the service and staff excellent!!! We really enjoyed the tips from the reception and the concierges, they know the city very well and allowed us to visit the maximum in the time we had. We also had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Jan, on several occasion. He was so kind and made us feel special and really at home at his hotel. Overall we were amazed and can only recommend this hotel to everybody.

There were things about our stay that were great and others that fell flat. I was expecting more than what we received given the reviews and previous comments. Great location, but overall service could have been much better. We visited with our two small children and had two very nice adjoining rooms and we ordered the Rin Tin Tin package, which was great and the kids loved it. But I also pre-ordered 2 boxes of chocolates which never arrived in my room. And that was after I had asked for them multiple times from the front desk. It was only when I was checking out did they go and get them for me. The staff at the main restaurant were very nice and service was quick and friendly. Opposite service at the hotel bar. It was extremely slow and understaffed. Also, when leaving, they charged me for in-room bar service that we never took advantage of, but instead had to move it out of the way for our children so they could not get to it. Again, hit or miss, but was expecting less misses given the price.

What a great hotel! Staff was super nice! We opted for the executive king which was super big- it even had a foyer. 1 min walk to Grand Place (which was spectacular). It had an interesting restaurant which I did go to but next time I will go (Italian I think). The surrounding immediate area has very quaint restaurants so you have many options. This will be my “go to” hotel in Brussels. Very luxurious!

Even with the bad weather I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. All staff members were very nice, helpful and friendly. The concierge helped me with the best walking itineraries and best restaurants. My room was great, beautiful, very spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. The bathroom was big and modern. The location is the best one, less then 5 minutes to the Gran Palace. I really recommend the hotel and I hope to come back soon.
