Topflight hotel in every respect. Excellent staff, beautiful lobby area, spacious rooms, high-quality dining and central location.

The hotel location is perfect right near the main square in Brussels. Walking distance to most of the sights. A stunning hotel, we loved the bar in the lobby fantastic cocktails and sometimes live music. The breakfasts are excellent with a huge variety Catering’s for everyone. We loved staying here and will be back! Perfect location for Christmas markets.

My family and I stayed at Hotel Amigo during a recent trip to Belgium, spanning a couple of weekends including Mother’s Day, last month. We had a great stay at the property. The location is great and the historical ties are as interesting as one would imagine. However, the reason I feel compelled to write this review is because, the staff is their BIGGEST asset. Please bear with me while I list a few of them by name for going above and beyond their call of duty. Rahwa, from guest relations was brilliant at what she does! Rahwa, along with the front desk team made our stay as special as possible. The smallest of requests we made, were accommodated and we felt truly pampered. Small, delightful surprises, were the cherry on the top. Be it flowers on Mother’s Day or wine & cheese for unwinding after a long day of walking or indulging my husband with a local beer after a casual conversation, I could go on and on. Anas, Paulina, Julia & Elisabeth were consistently amazing throughout our stay, doing their best to help us with any issues that came up. Marc from the Concierge team was our go-to for everything we needed information on and reservations. We had some great conversations with him while waiting for our ride many a times. The Bell staff and doormen were such gentlemen, and so courteous, it made me smile every time I walked in, even if the weather was unkind! We had a small laundry mishap, and the house keeping team was adamant on trying to fix it for me, and much to my surprise…they DID! I had given up on the shrinkage of a pair of wool pants, but one laundress, I unfortunately can’t recall her name, was committed to trying to fix it. It was impressive, but what was more impressive, was the sense of pride this lovely lady took in her work. Remarkable! The Bar and F&B team made our evenings and mornings extremely pleasant. On the first day, the drilling machines made it impossible to have breakfast in the restaurant, so Claudio from F&B was kind enough to move me to the bar and shuttled back and forth, trying to ensure I was ok during breakfast and didn’t end up with a migraine. These are just a few of the many small experiences we had. I can only imagine that the consistent thread of genuine hospitality that ties all these elements together, must be the ethos trickling down from the GM, setting expectations and precedent for the rest of the staff to follow, adopt and emulate. We left having had one of best stays and are truly grateful to the team for making our vacation SO-SO special. Congratulations on doing such a fantastic job team AMIGO and a HUGE thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything.

Our stay was truly delightful, and we found the people to be exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The attention to even the smallest details was quite impressive.
