most amazing couple of days

I had the best time! The room was amazing, the food delicious and the staff breathtakingly welcoming, professional and kind. I was treated like the Queen throughout my whole stay. Thank you Hotel Amigo Team to make my stay so incredibly memorable. I would like to extend especially warm regards to Julia from FO, Emanuel from the bell staff team and to the people from housekeeping:)

An exceptional hotel in Brussels

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

I visited Brussels from 2-5 September 2025 and wanted to stay in a hotel that was (a) in or very close to the Grand Place, (b) easy to navigate from to all the other must-see sights, shopping areas and eating places, and (c) well known for its ambience and good service. After some research, I opted for the Amigo Hotel and I couldn’t have made a better choice. The location was perfect—just a lane away from the Grand Place. The room (including the attached bathroom) was spacious and comfortable, and the overall ambience carried a grand yet old-school charm. The staff were unfailingly hospitable, and their service was impeccable. Yes, the price is higher than many other hotels in Brussels, but it is luxury hotel and it was worth every cent for the comfort, convenience, and memorable experience. If I return to Brussels, I will definitely stay at Hotel Amigo again.

Back at the Amigo, where people from the world over stop by to discover the heart of Brussels

Not our first stay in this wonderful hotel in the very heart of Brussels, a few steps from the Grand Place, but still very highly recommended, for the staff, the interior design, the size of the rooms, the breakfast, the location, and so forth. Oh, and yes, this time, we tried the bar, stylish, beautifully decorated, well furnished in liquids of various types, cocktails or not, and fully equipped with our favorite brut champagne! Not bad for an old police station…

Wonderful Experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

If you like being in the center of the action, you will find the Amigo to be the perfect location near the Grand Marche and walking distance from Brussels museums. But when you walk through the door, you leave that hustle and bustle behind. The lobby is beautfiul and welcoming and quiet; the food in the restaurant superb; the staff friendly and helpful. My deluxe room wasn't large but it was a good size and nicely appointed. I loved the feel of the carpet under my feet and enjoyed having real bar soap at the sink. I also enjoyed having turn down service at night. My only complaint is that the TV offerings in English weren't great. Mostly news or shows like Comedy Central and HGTV, and 12 at least channels from within the Arab world. For a city where it seemed like everyone spoke English in addition to French, that seemed rather odd.
