Reviews for The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest
We checked in for two nights coming off a Viking river cruise. The hotel was amazing. We had to leave the ship by 9 am and the hotel had a room available for us ( actually upgraded us to a junior suite). From the moment we entered the staff was so helpful and friendly. The concierge assisted us with dinner reservations, had some good suggestions for us and was very very helpful. The hotel is very central to so many sights. Almost everything is walkable from there. There is also a metro station located literally in front of the hotel. An excellent hotel that lives up to the standards always associated with the Ritz Carlton hotels.

This is really an amazing place to stay in downtown Budapest, right in the middle of everything and with a nice atmosphere reconnecting with the middle-Europe culture. Rooms are very nice and clean and services are excellent.
I had the pleasure of visiting the Kupola lounge and Deak St Kitchen in the Ritz-Carlton Budapest. Both were amazing. Firstly the Kupola lounge wow! At the heart of the hotel beneath a breathtaking ceiling and grand chandelier. A gorgeous, elegant and luxurious decor. The atmosphere was lovely with the live pianist playing. I came here for drinks and dessert and it was a beautiful experience. Surprisingly good value for money! Would definitely recommend. The Deak St Kitchen lovely, warm and cosy, but rich and elegant atmosphere. I dinned here for my birthday and the staff and service was excellent. I choose to have the fillet steak and i must say its one of my favourites to date! The restaurant provided me with a complimentary birthday dessert personalised which was really thoughtful and a great touch. Much appreciated. Superb evening!

Spent 5 nights here in March. A great location - central and very close to a Metro station (more on that in a bit) although we didn’t use the Metro as Budapest as the sights are within walking distance of the hotel. Staff were all very helpful; we were in a Superior room which was clean and well equipped and the bed very comfortable. We had access to the Club Lounge and the food/drink was pretty consistently well stocked and the staff super helpful and friendly. Gym was well equipped. We didn’t try any of the other bars or restaurants in the hotel but they looked very nice. The only downside was that the room we were in (530) was very close to the Metro and even though we were on the fifth floor you could still hear the noise throughout the day and night. Not much the hotel can do about that but you may want to request a room at the rear of the property as this MAY be quieter. All in all a good stay.

I spent one night at the Ritz in Budapest, a Saturday night, the lodging was a very good deal given the quality of the room. The hotel is truly a work of art, beautiful art on the walls, room design and architecture. The location is central to everything you could want, the staff is of course as excellent as the building itself. Thank you to Peter in reception for arranging tickets at the Orpheum night club for me. Would definitely repeat.
