BA flight from Heathrow & transfer from airport to hotel both went very well. A portent for the next 4 days, aided by warm and sunny weather. The hotel is in a prime city-centre location (could only be bettered by being next to the Danube), and from check-in to check-out it was outstanding. The staff are excellent, the room was very comfortable and luxurious, and breakfast each morning was the perfect start. If the weather hadn't been so kind, we might have explored the spa & pool on the 8th floor - but we did have dinner on our first evening in the hotel's dining room (Deak St Kitchen) which was outstanding. All in all, this was memorable for all the right reasons. If this is typical of Ritz-Carlton standards elsewhere then it's hard to imagine a chain which can claim to be better.

Platinum member here, spent 2 nights at the hotel. The staff was very responsive for my request for upgrade, top floor and early check in. The rooms are great, freshly designed and the beds are top 3 I've ever tried in hotels worldwide. The staff was smiling all the time and very efficient in hotel services and city advice. The gym is small but has all you need with new Technogym equipment. It was always empty. The location is very central and right above a quiet metro entrance. Only thing that can be improved is the breakfast whic I found overpriced for what the diversity of items in the buffet. Would definitely come back.

A great hotel in a wonderful location. We felt very comfortable and safe in and around the hotel. The staff was very welcoming and even gave us a personal little tour of the hotel lobby area. It is a very modern hotel with large rooms. We had a room at the backside of the hotel and the view is of a little shopping promenade. There was a little noise from the street until about 10 pm.

WOW - what service. This hotel exceeded all expectations. Getting there from the airport was so easy. Maybe not all Ritz-Carlton guests take the bus from the airport - but the 100E express service just outside the terminal building whisks you straight down to Deak Ferenc Square and the hotel is just over the road. And for EU citizens over 65 the bus transfer (and all Budapest public transport) is free. This hotel is so convenient and is a haven to return to after each exploration of the city - especially the Club lounge on 8th floor with its super-efficient staff. See you all again soon!
