Gerle, on the club level was so wonderful. She was so knowledgeable and helped us navigate our time here! The hotel is beautiful and the club level food is delish!! Highly recommend the Ritz in Budapest.

The hotel itself if perfectly situated in the heart of Budapest and just steps from the Budapest Express Bus 100E that terminates at Deak Ferenc Ter. Literally, we stepped off the bus and were looking at the Ritz. Check-in was quick and professional. I was acknowledged immediately as a Marriott Platinum member. An agent then took us to our room. We were celebrating my partner's retirement and when asked in advance about any special occasions, Kyla Amor, requested some pictures over the years. Little did we know she would be hanging those photos from helium filled balloons in the room along with a bottle of wine and sweets. It was a very touching gesture and we were very appreciative that Kyla took the time to surprise us. That is the first time any Ritz went to that level of detail because we were celebrating something special. What a way to make a first impression! The room and bathrooms were spotless. Amenities and towels excellent. And of course Ritz Carlton bedding is some of the highest quality you can experience. The upstairs gym and pool were also very nice. The standout feature of the hotel is the club room. We completely enjoyed Hanadi and her staff. Zsofie asked if she could make us a drink the first night and for not having made an Old Fashioned previously, she was spot on. She and the other staff in the club room went out of their way to engage with their guests. The club room offers many choices including eggs on demand with a chef in the morning. We tried the restaurant just one morning, but the rest of our days we ate breakfast in the club room because it was just as good and more intimate than the restaurant off the lobby. In the evenings there is a full compliment of Hungarian wines and cheeses in addition to a full bar including Hungarian spirits such as Palinka and Unicum including the herbal standard and also a plum version which was delicious. There were numerous hot and cold appetizers to try along with a daily soup. Without fail, every staff person we saw from the valets, doormen, housekeepers, etc were genuinely pleasant and ready to help with anything. We enjoy experiencing Ritz Carlton and their club lounges around the world and this was one of our favorites. It was a pleasure staying here.

Let me start by saying I rarely write reviews, but our stay at the Ritz Carlton Budapest was so very special I felt compelled to let everyone know . If you are lucky enough to visit this magnificent city do yourself, your family or loved ones a favor and stay at the Ritz Carlton. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of every staff member we encountered. From the moment we checked in we were warmly greeted and offered a glass of champagne. The room was magnificent 5 star all the way. The breakfast had a lovely selection of hot and cold choices, I try to stay away from carbs but had a hard time resisting the pastry and bread selection. The location is perfect for a sightseeing and evening activities, I want to thank all the guest relations members who helped make our stay so special.
