Reviews for St. George Residence
My family and I just returned from a 3 day trip to beautiful Budapest. The hotel's location is fantastic and the building's architecture is truly wonderful. The hotel would be amazing if they replaced the management and most of the staff. The staff were unnecessarily rude and had a general attitude of indifference. The rooms were ok, however the breakfast was very poor and most of the items on offer were stale. The hotel is a 5* hotel for its location and architecture but operates as a 2*. We would definitely go back to Budapest but would certainly not return to this hotel.

The St George All Suite Residences is quite splendid indeed! All units have 2 very spacious rooms with every amenity imaginable. The best thing is their location, in the heart of the Castle district. 6 restaurants within meters the best of which is the Pierrot in which we had the most memorable meal in recent memory. Simply exquisite. Walk to the fairyland of Fishermans' Bastion. Close to shopping & the very best views of Budapest especially at night. We hope to return soon!
Spent 3 nights for recent trip for the Grand Prix. Lovely hotel with old features but bang up to date wifi and kitchen facilities. my room had a fridge, sink and cooking ring. Large screen TV and safe deposit box. Just down the road, either way are bus stops. 5 mins walk to St Matthias church. This a must for fantastic photo opportunities of the area and over looking the river. 15 mins from Buda Castle.

Visited this hotel as we had family who were staying there with a small child and it was more convenient. We had a table for 8 of us set up in the courtyard garden which is beautiful and tranquil with the rooms surrounding the garden. The food menu was good for vegetarians, the service was prompt, tasty food and very good value. Excellent salmon rissotto and white chocolate strawberry cheesecake

The cleaning in the room was absolutely shocking as was the breakfast and the service! When I told them about it all she could do was shrug! Shame for the amount of money paid and the wonderful building and surroundings.
