The place is beautiful and the location killer, but Cold War attitudes and mismanagement ruin the experience. You have to ask three times to get anything done; they intentionally overcharge, and running a restaurant in the courtyard destroys privacy. The boss has a nasty attitude straight out of 1970, and there is no bathtub.

We had been here six years previous, so booked here again prior to our Danube River cruise. This area is very popular amongst tourists, as it is near the castle as well as fishermans bastion and other scenic areas. The rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is very friendly. The free welcome drink was also much appreciated.

Perfect location and very classic, elegant architect (several hundred years old building) and nicely kept. It's kind like live in a castle. The living room has gorgeous furnitures and some other well kept antiques. Could not ask to stay a better place in Budapest. I surely will stay here again if I ever revisit Budapest in the future.

Amazing property. Wonderful location! Huge rooms. I was a bit mindful of potentially poor service, having read few of the reviews below, but I think we got lucky! No problems at all. Nice choice of restaurants in the area. Some of the best panoramic views in town too of course! Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous hotel/apartment in the Castle district which is like a fairy tale! Beautiful views with the Royal Palace, the Fisher mans Bastion and lovely pubs/restaurants walking distance away. The Matthias church is a "must see" you can buy your entrance tickets at the side, well worth it!
