Right in the middle of Palermo which is the trendiest place in BA and close to great restaurants, Breakfast was very good and attentive staff helped us organise the Argentina Polo Day which was a highlight of the trip. Personalised service.

This is a great hotel in a very quiet area easy for walking. The rooms were a little dated but the hotel itself is very nice! The staff was very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was very nice and something was prepared for us even when we had early departures for tours. The restaurant served a good variety of foods and was very good for dinner.

The front desk staff was correct and respectful but not welcoming enough. I think they should put a bit more effort in being nice and smile. I stayed in a suite and not only the bathroom door and wall were made of glass but also the door had no lock. You coulnd not lock the door... :/ I really didnt like that.

We thought the photos of the hotel online looked great. In fact, it turns out our hotel room is featured on the website. Well....after getting in, we realised that a small corner of the bed head is...and for obvious reasons. We were in room 6 which felt dark, unloved and oppressive when we walked in. It smelt - a smell we couldn't get rid of for the 3 nights we were there unless we had the window open. It kind of felt like an old smokers room that has been doused in car air fresher. The furniture is just old and dated - but not in a kitsch kind of way - just dated. The wall mounted fabric headboard was stained - right near your head - quite off putting. Online the bathrooms look as though they have been renovated, however, ours was dirty with a broken bath tap. The plastic hand soap dispenser filled with green liquid is more suited to a garage than a boutique hotel. Really put me off! On the second night when we got back from dinner, our main lights in the bedroom wouldn't switch off, I'm sure to do with the fact a bulb had blown in the series of 3. We called reception to come and resolve and he turned them all off via the in-room fuse box. We then had to repeat on the third night as it hadn't been fixed while we were out all day. Luckily they'd left the fuse box unlocked! Oh! And considering most people are travelling it has the smallest in-room safe I've ever seen.....but now I'm just being picky! On the positives, the staff were friendly and helpful and the neighbourhood is super convenient and chic, but I'd struggle to recommend this hotel to anyone. There seem to be so many other fantastic options in the area to choose from.
