First of all, they spray their "signature scent" (their term, not mine) into the lobby and the halls. If you have allergies, it's a horror. I was either sneezing or wheezing any time I left our room. And I really wanted to leave the room and get outside into the light since the decor of the room can only be termed "deep mourning": all black, charcoal and deep purple. Honestly depressing. And then the art in the lobby: jarring trash.

Being in Buenos Aires for business and waiting my next flight to Mexico, I had the opportunity to spent three days at the Brick. The hotel is elegant, strategically located in Recoleta and looks like an art gallery. Rooms are spacious and cozy, bathrooms are marble made and perfectly clean. All services work very well, from Reception to Restaurant, from taxi booking to WiFi. I tried the restaurant only for breakfast and the food quality is very good, as well as the variety is great. Next time I’m in Buenos Aires I will come back to the Brick for sure. Well done, keep it up!

We debated long about what hotel to choose for our stay in Buenos Aires and are so glad we picked the Brick Hotel. Stunning reception, more like an art gallery than hotel. The room was a little tired, but comfortable and no complaints. However, the staff were great in especially concierge Martin, who should be called Saint Martin as he saved our holiday and we are eternally grateful. San Martin did so much for us, way above and beyond the bounds of duty, he was exceptional. Thank you so much. The hotel is well located, it is in a good neighbourhood and has restaurants and shopping very close by. It's only a short walk to the main area of Recoletas, to museums and the cemetery and the Buquebus stop. Breakfast is very good. There's a small garden at the back which is nice to relax with a beer in after a hard day's sightseeing.

Overall interior not quite upto Sofitels usual high standards but comfortable. Friendly staff, nice breakfast, decent bar, bedroom a bit basic but good bed. Excellent location. Let down by tiny fitness centre (I joined local gym - Megathlon), very quiet restaurant in the evening - though food was tasty. Would stay again.

I loved this hotel, it's modern, clean and comfortable. It's location isn't too far from some nice bars and restaurants, it's also directly opposite a luxury shopping mall. Our room was spotless and very spacious. The breakfast is one of the best I've had in a hotel, there is lots of choice and good quality food. The staff were excellent, they were extremely welcoming and helpful, especially Octavio who helped book us a trip to Uruguay. I would highly recommend this hotel.
