We stayed at the Brick Hotel for 3 nights. It has a very nice feel with a lovely entrance, restaurant setting and artwork. The staff were very helpful from checking in to checking out. We had breakfast at the hotel which was very good in the lovely setting. We didn't have dinner. The hotel is well located in Recoleta with a number of local restaurants nearby. We felt safe walking in the area even at night time. It is walkable to the local attractions, we even walked to San Telmo market on Sunday. We would certainly stay there again if we visit Buenos Aires

I spent 4 nights at the hotel. The physical plant and the location were great. The food was low quality compared to nearby restaurants. The breakfast was average The service was sub standard at all levels. This culminated with the staff putting me in the wrong car to the airport. I wouldn't recommend this property.

The Brick seems like any other high quality hotel in a major city but yesterday i experienced a new high in service that i am humbled by, genuinely. My friend was staying in another room and went to the toilet at 2am. He tripped, in the dark, and cut his left cheek so deeply when he fell that it looked like someone had used a chef's knife to do it. He had knocked himself out, hurt his neck, and also cut his leg quite badly in the process. The staff at the hotel were so helpful and supportive it was better than being at home. Alfredo and Augusto called paramedics etc and provided constant care. When it became obvious that it was necessary to go to the hospital, Augusto came with us to ensure there would be no problem with communication as our Spanish was not good. If you can believe this, he stayed with us for 7 hours at A&E, attending every consultation, and payment with the care of a family member, asking nothing in return. I am almost overwhelmed by his care and kindness, and i have no doubt every member of the front of house team would have done the same. Thanks to him, we were seen quickly, the doctors took great care, and the matter was handled just as if we were in the UK (better in fact). I am a seasoned traveller to say the least and have stayed at so many 5* hotels - Four easons, Aman, Intercon, Peninsula etc. Never have i seen or even heard of this type of over the line service. I will never ever forget that 5* service is not just a high charge for servile doormen and efficient concierge services. It is for support, when you need it, in a foreign land. When every minute counts and there is no one else to turn to for support. This Hotel wins, hands down, my award for the best service experience, EVER. Augusto particularly stands out as an incredible and admirable employee, which i hope the hotel will recognise. If you are staying in Buenos Aires, and its a long way from home, your Spanish is not very good, and you may need a new family to support you, then stay here, this is home from home. This is a place where 5* service is definitely not just a marketing tool, it is reality, and it is the most comforting thing your money can buy, because when you need it, money is not a consideration. 11/10, you can keep the Four Seasons, i will always stay here from now on.
