The Brick is well located downtown BA. Atmospere is very pleasant, good service at door, lobby and reception. Rooms are fine (not too modern, but good), breakfast more than sufficient. Price/quality attractive. Certainly a place to return.

Rooms are a little dated. Breakfast very good, restaurant is not the place to have dinner in town, location is very good only drawback is on the wrong side of town center from and to the airport. Staff very friendly and effective

I was to stay in Bueno Aires for two night waiting to board my South Antarctica cruise and I stayed in the Brick for the second night because the cruise company cannot get enough rooms for cruise guests two nights in a row in the same hotel. I was not disappointed other than having to repack for the move because the Brick was as good as the first one although my room was a little smaller here because I was given a suite in the first one. Anyway, the lobby, lounge and reception of this hotel was exceptionally decorated and more plush than the first one which made me feel less distressed to start with. The room was adequately furnished and well maintained so no complain. If you like shopping, you may like this hotel even more as the Patio Bullrick Mall, an upscale shopping complex is right across the street.

We had one night that we had to stay before heading back home so our travel agent put us in the Brick. Overall, it is a very stylish hotel - with interesting decor, paintings. Check in was excellent - the room was a very nice room. However, 2 things - the window wouldn't close so the air was pretty cool. Fortunately, we like the temperature cooler. And the phone wasn't quite working so was making quirky noises so we finally had to unplug the phone. I do want to make it clear that we did NOT notify the hotel or give them an opportunity to fix it. We arrived late at night and didn't want to move and although it was a bit of a nuisance, it didn't bother us enough to complain about it. We did inform the hotel when we checked out the following morning so that they can fix it for the next guest and obviously, they were not happy hearing about it. The rooms are well equipped with good size bathrooms, robes, slippers and nice coffee/tea selections. We did try room service and the food was excellent. The food cost was also very reasonable for that level of a hotel. And the following breakfast was again very good with a nice variety of choices. The location of the hotel is excellent - right across a high end mall if you like shopping. And it is walking distance to the national museum (about 1 km). I would stay in it again if I was to go back to BA even with the small issues. If not for the small issues, we would have rated it as excellent.
