TV broke down first night. Telephone not connected. When calling reception, house keeping, concierge no one answered, until you call Emergency to get a reply. Air conditioning not on. Bathroom rather tired, broken toilet fitting. Safe locked itself and couldn’t open.

Stayed here one night pre-Antartic cruise and it was organised by the cruise company. The rooms look dated and some of the fittings, particularly in the bathroom needs replacing since they were broken. For the price point, it was disappointing if I had paid myself. Staff were friendly at check in and check out. Personally I would choose a different hotel unless you need to be in recoleta specifically

nice room. elevator in the morning was a nightmare. the two elevators were not ample and we had to use the service elevators to get downstairs for breakfast on time to get on the bus to the airport for our cruise. great location in Recoleta that we enjoyed walking, eating and buying helado.

Our stay was really highlighted by the most warm reception by Gisela, who always ensured we were comfortable and well received. She is a true star on the property. The hotel enjoys a great location in the city, directly across from a fashionable shopping centre. It is a lovely walking neighbourhood. It clearly handles the regular flow of Antarctic cruisers well. Rooms are large and comfortable. It is just down the street from the Hyatt Palacio Duhau where you might want to enjoy an outdoor garden table or just visit for its grandness. The Sofitel itself has a charming cafe that has indoor and outdoor tables. Also a good steak restaurant on property. Stay for an economical and well located spot in Buenos Aires.

Spacious room, quiet to street noise but thin internal walls meant there was noise heard from the adjoining room and corridor. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices including freshly cooked egg options. Great location with an easy walk to the weekend markets, many restaurants and a bit further on the shopping district. The shopping centre over the road really didn’t offer much, unless you like designer stores.
