Good choice for its location. Service was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. They don’t have MSNBC, but we were okay with CNN. The only negative was the food. It wasn’t very good. Moreover, they used tomatoes which tasted terrible on both the pizza and the sandwich. I had never tasted such an awful one. Be aware that they don’t put salt and pepper on the table, you must ask. There is a small cafe across the street which is inexpensive and good.

Great location for this hotel. Felt safe walking around and plenty of ATMs. Bought wine in one of the local shops around the corner to have before going out to dinner at one of the recommended restaurants. Good selection for breakfast.

We found this hotel fairly poor and not very interested in its customers. On the positive side the location is good and the beds comfortable. Against that, the bar and restaurant are uninviting and lack atmosphere, with possibly the rudest and least attentive staff we have ever encountered. The restaurant features a large tv screen with an endlessly circulating and very dull PowerPoint slideshow featuring all the hotel’s wonderful features (what, a conference room with chairs? And a bar will glasses?). Our room was opposite the service lift where staff felt entitled to chat in loud voices at any time, despite the presence of a do not disturb sign from these jet lagged clients wanting an afternoon nap. It’s not a terrible hotel but it certainly isn’t a good one and one senses it will get worse. I’m sure BA has much better to offer.

Great English speaking front desk staff (for the most part) and the same for the restaurant. The rooms were comfortable. Housekeeping was a big disappointment. They speak no English, and do not understand requests translated by the front desk staff. We think that the carpet was vacuumed once during our 9 day stay. Turn down service consists of delivering chocolate to you room on some evening - the bed was never turned down. If you want a wash cloth, bring your own. The hotel has a few, but the housekeeping staff does not understand what they are. We found a nice lunch cafe a few bocks away and Starbucks ids nearby. The hotel does not change dollars into Pesos and there is no money exchange place within walking distance (Western Union is 2 blocks away but it was closed for renovation or permanently.

We had a really nice time in Buenos Aires. Recoleta Grand met all our expectations. Great location, outstanding breakfast and pleasant rooms. Christian the barteendar was the best! He gave us some good tips about shopping and how to get around the city. Such a nice guy! The people at the front desk were very helpful at making reservations at the best restaurants in the area. Can' t wait to come back.
