We loved the room on the second level overlooking the pool, it was beautiful! The facilities are lovely, pool with lots of floating noodles if wanted, the gym was good for the size and the sauna & plunge pool was excellent. Lovely food and cocktails at the bar and only a 10min walk to cable beach. All in all, a great hotel.

From the moment we arrived the staff at reception were fab! Checkin isn't until 3pm; we arrived at 10.30, but that was no problem, the staff looked after our bags and invited us to use the pool and any other facilities until our room was ready. Our little girl was delighted and couldn't wait to get into the pool šŸ˜Š. On top of that our room was ready nearly 3 hours early which meant we could absolutely make the most of our first day in Broome. We had dinner at the Deck restaurant - again the staff were attentive but not over the top, the three is us dined on gnocchi and handmade pumpkin tortellini and both meals were awesome. We went about our days business the next day and hung the 'please tidy our room' note on our door; the first day we got fresh towels, new toiletries, the bins emptied and cups washed, the second day not so great, limited towels (no towels for baby), no toiletries and a cup and glass left unwashed - maybe housekeeping was having an off day? On our way out tonight we spoke with reception and asked them to book a camel ride on cable beach for us, again this was no problem and they explained that all booking services were closed until tomorrow but that they would make the relevant calls in the morning and let us know. We are only half way through our trip but safe to say we would recommend the Kimberley Sands Resort to a our family and friends.

Fabulous place to stay!! Rooms are lovely, spacious - bed excellent! Staff are excellent and very accomodating. Pool is great! Has villas for families with private pool in each villa area which is shared by around 4 villas. If you get a chance visit the spa and enjoy an amazing massage by Joyce - she is excellent!! Can't wait to return.

Went to Broome for a quick weekend away. The Hotel was ok. A bit expensive for what you get. the lifts seem to be permanently broken down which was annoying. The spa treatment was excellent and we enjoyed the restaurant. It is also close enough to Cable Beach.

Although the room was nice, the room service (not food), replenishment of toiletries, towels, bottled water was very poor. After the repairs to our toilet had been completed, maintenance person didn't clean the toilet and left an upturned screw on the floor which i stood on (luckily without much damage). The service in the restaurant (The Deck) in the evening was excellent as was the food. The included continental breakfast was average at best, everything was self service with limited choices. maybe we could have had a cooked breakfast at an extra cost but this option was not offered. The pool was welcoming due to the heat but is in desperate need of a refurbishment. Many tiles were missing, spa outlets not working, wood decking had a number of raised screws which should be attended to. Pool salt was added mid-morning while people were using the pool, why couldn't this have been done in the evening when the pool was closed. My wife had a facial and I had a massage which we both enjoyed.
