Unbeatable Room & Location!
I booked a last-minute trip here for NYE and my stay was great! First, I booked the 1-bedroom King suite and the room was HUGE. I had a full kitchen, shower, bathtub, living room, a separate bedroom, and two balconies overlooking the pool and sea. There was a New Year’s Eve dinner with open bar, so I decided to buy a ticket. The food was delicious and they even had a sushi bar. I met some cool people at my table and the music/dancing was great too. This resort is right on the beach, so you simply walk downstairs through a gate and you can participate in all kinds of activities. I did jet skiing and had a couple massages at nearby beachfront parlors. It’s a swimmable beach too! There are plenty of shops/restaurants within walking distance, and the marina and downtown are also within walking distance. The room was kept clean and the staff were great. The only negative I have is that the breakfast buffet wasn’t great. After that experience, I decided to eat off of the resort for the rest of my stay. I almost forgot to mention the pool which is great too! Although it’s not a party pool and there are kids around, the swim up bar was nice. Overall you really can’t beat the room quality and location. I’d definitely come back!

Family vacation
We had an amazing time at Casa Dorada. Perfect set up and location for a multiple generation family vacation. The food was amazing, staff wonderful and rooms and views were gorgeous. Perfect location to beach and short walk to marina.

Absolutely amazing staff!!
This was our 5th year at this property and each year, it gets better. We love the staff, who remembers us and has been there for 15+ years. Chema, Emilio, Gabino, Sergio and Carlos are the absolute best! We love Casa Dorada

Overall we like the resort but wish they didn’t open it open to cruise ship passengers.
Currently staying at Casa Dorada 12-21 thru 12/26/2025: Pros - 1) Rooms are large and comfortable 2) Beach is great (clear, sandy, no seaweed) 3) Service from staff is good 4) Overall clean resort and up kept 5) Food is pretty good Cons: 1) Resort allows cruise ship passengers to use facilities. It’s a noticeable difference when they arrive. Service is stretched, chairs harder to come by, and not as relaxing of an average environment. We had people from cruise smoking marijuana, cussing, etc.
