Esperanza is a fabulous property! My husband and I visited for the long weekend, and we were blown away from the minute we arrived. The resort itself is beautiful-- stunning gardens, amazing sea views, beautiful architecture! The rooms are modern and spacious, and the design and furniture are beautiful. There are several pools, and each has a terrific view of the ocean. More than anything, the staff is superb. Judith was our concierge, and she went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed, from booking private tours to having room service ready when we returned from whale watching. Juan and Hector greeted us on arrival, and they were helpful for the duration of our stay. Each staff member we met was friendly, helpful and eager to make our stay more enjoyable. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

My fiance and I just returned from a week in casita #62 and could not have been more thrilled with the experience. I've traveled all over the world and have stayed in many of the nicest properties in multiple countries. This is now one of my favorites. The setting and amenities cannot be beat but it's the service makes it even more special. Karim, our personal concierge, went out of his way to ensure that every need was catered to. And Pablo and Jesus became personal friends in the restaurants. Such incredible people!! I guarantee that we will be back someday. On a side note, if you're staying at the resort, make sure you utilize all of the restaurants that are available including Las Estrallas in the private resident section. It was a highlight for us. Thank you, Esperanza! Keep up the great work!

I have visited Esperanza for years and it only keeps getting better! First and foremost, the people are what make this resort the BEST. The service and the smiles that go along with it are endearing. Any need will be accommodated happily. Secondly, the 4BR villas are beautiful, with thoughtful interior design that incorporates American comfort with Mexican accents in a very modern way. The location of the property is breath-taking so much that there is no reason you'll ever want to leave. The F+B component offers numerous options and my favorite is Mexicanisimo at the Palapa restaurant on TH nights. The open air spa is one of the best I have ever been to -make sure to request Connie for the best massage ever and the fitness program is award winning with serious and varied classes everyday. All in all, Esperanza is one of my favorite places of all (and I've been lucky enough to travel extensively)!

Just returned for a five-night stay at Esperanza. My family stayed in a four-bedroom villa. There are not words to effectively describe how amazing the entire experience was. But if I had to pick one, it would be "perfect." From the moment we arrived until the time we were sad to depart, our experience was flawless. The food was top notch, fitness classes wonderful, spa treatments amazing and Jorge our concierge was incredible and made sure everything was just right every step of the way. The property is beautiful with unbelievable pools and landscapes. This is a five-star property on every level. Esperanza was a great time for my family but would be equally mind blowing for couples or groups alike. Can't wait to go back.

When we arrived down the long winding drive we were taken back how beautiful everything was. The landscapping was impeccable. We were escorted to our table overlooking the ocean. It was very dark and you could only hear the waves against the rocks, but you could see tons of stars...the place is well lite though. We ordered a nice bottle or Far Niente Chardonnay which was wife started with the beer-beet-beet salad. A variety of different colored beets making a beautiful presentation and she ate all of it. I asked could I get a Caesar salad even though it was not on the menu and the server was excellent and right away said, “of course!” Great way to start our meal. I must mention that the butter was so, honey, olive oil and whipped into the was amazing. We asked for more. For my entree, I decided on the fish of the day which was a whole red snapper prepared perfectly..I did not see “for two” but ate most of it anyway since as it was so good and fresh. My also got the regular portion of red snapper which she loved. For dessert, one of my favorites, Banana flambé. It was excellent. We were impressed with everything from the landscapping to the server and the food. It made for a very expensive memorial meal because that’s why we go on vacations. To indulge. I suggest you rush here and enjoy very morsel of food.
